So it isn't surprising that they're getting all this wrap recently. They're probably both snorting enormous lines of coke off of a pyramid of HIV+ infected rubber camel dicks too for all we know.

Also, I wouldn't really recommend someone who wouldn't appreciate furry stuff to go to a furry convention. Its a lot of fun yes, but most of that fun is hanging out with like minded people, parties, and browsing stuff like the dealers den/artist alley. Maybe one or two panels (most of them suck, dance competitions are actually pretty sweet though). Someone who isn't into it would just be totally lost and likely get put off by the large amount of fursuiters. Hell I thought fursuits were generally weird for a long while. But admittedly, after you spend time around them actually in person and hanging out with the people who wear them, they pretty much lose all of their weird factor. Its basically just cosplay, if you ignore the 5% that does illicit things them them. But someone who couldn't really appreciate furry stuff probably wouldn't get to that point.

The actual story is Adam Wan was a bit of a swinger in 2009/10 and in an open relation (lol) and ended up meeting a chick who was already in a relationship, and didn't want to mess around. Fast forward a few months, she ends up breaking up and is suddenly interested in messing around. This happens off and on for a few months. Then, she gets nasty calls from her ex about it, then after that was in denial and a few months later got back with her ex. A few months after that a story started circulated that she was "raped" or "coerced" when the reality is very different. I think its sad that people can use such a serious sexual crime allegation against others as a scapegoat for deflecting their own insecurities. Yeah yeah you could say there is bias or that the text logs proving all of this were photoshopped or whatever but honestly it just doesn't really add up, especially considering any smart person would have gone to the police if it was actual rape, and the people that knew her that were ciruclating this story would have told the police. none of that happened, because it likely never happened. Moral of the story: completely open relationships are stupid, don't bang girls/guys who just broke up (also I really really wish there was just a furry/anthromorphics thread because I hate it when it gets brought up here, not really the right place)

It's pretty ridiculous. All of this shit was from about a year ago and it's just now being brought up because of some petty shit. Now there's a mass exodus of artists and stuff from FA to Weasyl because of it, all because of something that didn't involve them at all and had no relevance to anything ever. It's mostly because they just needed something new to complain about. Sometimes, I really hate being associated this fandom :v:
