Best before =/= expiration date.
The chips were probably like what? not as crunchy/slightly chewy?

Yep. Fortunately it was the clear Minute Maid bottles so I could tell it was off before opening it.
If we're still talking about hobbies, I write scripts for cartoons, sadly I can't draw or voice act so scripts is as far as it gets

Mostly poly relationships I've known of never worked out in the end. But I'm sure there are some out there that could.
I could see the appeal behind a poly relationship. I'm kind of dominant but I'm also kind of submissive, so I could feasibly be comfortable in a relationship with someone who is strictly dominant and also with someone who is strictly submissive. I'm pretty happy where I'm at right now though.
I tried to buy a bottle of Sprite from my college vending machine for $1.50 it gave me a fucking can of Diet Caffeine-Free Coke and a Monster (of which neither I drink—monster sucks) so I sold the Monster for $2 and tried to buy a Sprite again and instead now got a Fuze Iced lemon Tea.
I just wanted a damned bottle of Sprite with my Subway footlong.
I had a footlong of veggies n cheese and no lemony-limey-bubbly goodness to wash it down with.
I've never felt more first-world-problemy x-x.
Update: sold the Iced tea and coke and got a sprite. I also made a dollar and got out of my govt class early.
I had a good morning.
Dad's agreeing to take me out to buy a replacement phone after school today. I'm still really fucking bummed about all those pictures, case, and my SD card, though.

My hobby is lachrymation.
I think I am going to get a job at Dominos. Has anyone ever worked there before?
I'm very nervous.
I don't even have the job yet and I'm nervous. I hope that is not a bad sign.
I've never had a proper casual job.

Well I've never had a job but I can take a guess.
Your most relaxing job might be just as a cook or register person.
Otherwise, you're delivering if you can drive. And be ready to head into not so nice neighborhoods if you have those in Aussieland.

I'll have to deliver on their scooters because I'm licensed too, also drivers get paid more. Apparently "dominoids" (they're actually called that, I am going to be a dominoid this is terrible) do everything from register to cooking to delivery.
It's the fact I have to learn to do everything that makes me nervous. I can barely answer a phone on my own. I'm hoping it'll be good for me. We'll see.

What position?
I love working at a pizza place. Its one of the best part time jobs you can have IMO - except when it comes to gas and car maintenance costs. Which is why I rely on tips in order to make ends meet. I'm assuming you guys get paid better over in aussieland though so tipping probably isn't a thing for you guys.
If you work inside, its still pretty fun, but I'd hate to be an insider knowing that drivers end up making all the money.
Like any job its as good as the people you work with. I work with awesome people, and I love being able to drive around listening to music/podcasts for my job. Even if the hours are long as hell sometimes (going till 1AM) or if driving conditions are a huge pain in the ass (like when it snows and nobody bothered plowing even major roads so I have to go 20-25MPH everywhere in my civic).
We did just get a new manager though and she is kind of a pain. Nice lady and all, and she's not a complete dick, and its POSSIBLE to have a real human conversation with her theoretically... but one of those super corporate types where everything is being done by the book, walls get scrubbed everyday, doing busy work for the sake of being busy, and she'll write you up for the stupidest reasons because its X Y Z meaningless infractment against Q company guideline. She's like one of those managers who makes it clear that she isn't an employee like the rest of us and as such you have to work around her as if she was the goddamn president of the company. So much worse compared to our last manager, who was so cool with everything that we could work with her as if she were just another employee. Didn't take shit from customers, didn't deal with bullshit from us, respected us enough to not make us do a bunch of bullshit for the sake of staying busy or whatever. And respected us enough to let us to our own thing to get the job done well, as long as it was getting done well (i.e. listening to music in the store and not doing pointless things like weighing every little topping for everything).

learning how to do all sorts of things for your job isn't terrible; in about two days I had to learn how to make all kinds of different drinks, sandwiches (and know their combo numbers and what comes with that) as well as ice cream things like sundaes
it'll be a bit tough at first, but you'll do fine!

I used to get anxious about talking to strangers on the phone. Now after working at my current job, I no longer give it a second thought. Just be nice and polite on your end and 95% of the time, the person on the other end will as well. Just think about it this way, the worst they can do is yell at you. And the best part is you have magic button that makes them "go away".
Best before is just a sales term, if its still packaged in it's airtight packet it'll last for fucking years, some of its flavouring might go though but honestly that's basically down to the stuff they use. If it hasn't been opened its fine to eat.
Use before though, different story. If it's use before you throw it the day it expires purely because nasty shit starts to grow in products like that.

Also if you don't mind the whole best before thing, there's a company in the UK that specialises in selling items at a massive discount because of short best before dates or mislabelling. You can get some right steals on it.
