Damn it. The heater has decided to give up on me yet again. And the low tonight is gonna be 9f (-12c) :c
Undershirt + shirt + thermal underwear + pajama pants + blanket + heavy blanket over it and hope for the best
I walk outside during snowstorms in my PJs ALASKA STRONK
Damn it. The heater has decided to give up on me yet again. And the low tonight is gonna be 9f (-12c) :c
WHAT DID I TELL YOU? MY COLD EMBRACE IS COMING AND IT HAS NO MERCY.
About to shower after an hour of Badminton and then it's - 30 weather with wet hair. Aaaaaaa
Snow Masterrace
I love snow but would like to live somewhere less cold in the winter -30 is not a decent temperature regardless of what the people here think a place where -20 happens a couple times a winter but it's warmer otherwise would be super
I used to live in alaska and I loved it, so yes I would. In fact once I get enough money I might be moving back up there.
no snow 40 degrees Celsius master race...
no snow 40 degrees Celsius master race...
40 is unbearable, we get a day or two a year at or near that no AC either
I now kind of get the point of LGBTQ clubs after bashing them as pointless before. Still, this place is a bit too much of a sausage fest, though gay guys start off on a better foot with me... You do like to chat a lot and I have little to contribute.
40 is unbearable, we get a day or two a year at or near that no AC either
right now we're getting it almost every day Australia is burning everywhere right now
right now we're getting it almost every day Australia is burning everywhere right now
And I whined because we were getting 42 C (which happened ONE day, then we went back to 33-38).
I was just offered by a close friend to be in a relationship.. I wanted to say yes so badly, but I could not because I knew it would fail quickly due to how we have been in the past. I know I complained about how I post way too much shit like this, but I'm feeling so frustrated from this now and figured it would not do any harm to post it.

You'll find another person one day if you try and be yourself. Like I keep telling you, just relax and be yourself, you'll find better matches for long term relationship.
Interview went really well, will know by Friday. The person said that since they specifically hunted me down for the role, I am almost guaranteed the position. Now the wait for the call to tell me.
What position? I love working at a pizza place. Its one of the best part time jobs you can have IMO - except when it comes to gas and car maintenance costs. Which is why I rely on tips in order to make ends meet. I'm assuming you guys get paid better over in aussieland though so tipping probably isn't a thing for you guys. If you work inside, its still pretty fun, but I'd hate to be an insider knowing that drivers end up making all the money. Like any job its as good as the people you work with. I work with awesome people, and I love being able to drive around listening to music/podcasts for my job. Even if the hours are long as hell sometimes (going till 1AM) or if driving conditions are a huge pain in the ass (like when it snows and nobody bothered plowing even major roads so I have to go 20-25MPH everywhere in my civic). We did just get a new manager though and she is kind of a pain. Nice lady and all, and she's not a complete dick, and its POSSIBLE to have a real human conversation with her theoretically... but one of those super corporate types where everything is being done by the book, walls get scrubbed everyday, doing busy work for the sake of being busy, and she'll write you up for the stupidest reasons because its X Y Z meaningless infractment against Q company guideline. She's like one of those managers who makes it clear that she isn't an employee like the rest of us and as such you have to work around her as if she was the goddamn president of the company. So much worse compared to our last manager, who was so cool with everything that we could work with her as if she were just another employee. Didn't take shit from customers, didn't deal with bullshit from us, respected us enough to not make us do a bunch of bullshit for the sake of staying busy or whatever. And respected us enough to let us to our own thing to get the job done well, as long as it was getting done well (i.e. listening to music in the store and not doing pointless things like weighing every little topping for everything).
This is late but it was 4am when I first posted so I went to sleep soon after. I would love to be able to just do delivery but they make you do everything apparently. Supposedly I will find myself at the register more often than not because I "can speak clear english" my friends tell me. Also they deliver via scooter and only have one delivery car so because I'm licensed to ride the scooter I'm going to have to do that when I do deliver. Dominos, fortunately, pay for petrol and maintenance stuff. I am also being basically hired because I know two of the people working there already. They say everyone's pretty cool and the managers are ok. So hopefully that will be enjoyable, rather than a problem.
im stuck in my birdbath help me thaw it
Just wait till spring
freezing to death, but still alive
I'm boiling to death. Not sure how much longer I am going to be alive. Anyone want to swap?
Ooh. Would we rather die in a freezing, snowy mountainous region, or in a hot, dry desert? I'd go with freezing personally because hopefully I'd end up too numb to feel anything.
Man, I love snow, especially the when it's super windy and snow just pierces your face like broken shards of glass. Makes me focused and reminds me of what's important in life. Like ploughing the snow. [editline]22nd January 2014[/editline]
Ooh. Would we rather die in a freezing, snowy mountainous region, or in a hot, dry desert? Actually I dunno getting kINDA DARK HERE.
So I found out the council office next to work has an unsecure wifi. Work just got a little less boring.
New avatar, and starting a new college project next week. It's gonna be fun
