Just had a dream where I was Bart in the episode where he's an exchange student in France and he's being treated like shit. Except milhouse was there and I escaped one night and got help from a nice lady in a gas station and came back with baseball catcher equipment and beat them up with a bat while throwing bottles at their faces.

Not really, because while their actions can be noble, they're almost always structured in such a way that recruitment is targeted at society's most vulnerable people (the poor, minorities, etc)
Its just another way for the rich and powerful to exert their power over everyone else
