So I may or may not have just signed up for an American Express cash back card because I wanted the $250 signing bonus to help subsidize the cost of a new video card :x The other card features are a big perk too though I'm going to actually use the thing don't worry haha

I started liking blueberries a lot more when I found out my sister is allergic to them. Interesting.

I applied at a nearby gas station. Anybody else here work at somewhere like this? I'm afraid it'll be too much for me!
We sold our old car today. All 16 years we had it, it only had one major issue. But at least the person who got it will be making use of it and not scrapping it like my dad was going to so I'm happy.
I applied at a nearby gas station. Anybody else here work at somewhere like this? I'm afraid it'll be too much for me!
Welcome back :o It's not that bad. Night shift can be scary if you are working at a 24/7 one.
I did for a month 50% discount on fuel aw ye
Was there anything too stressful about it?
I did for a month 50% discount on fuel aw ye
Makes me want a job at a petrol station now. Oh, and talking about fuel. [t]https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/12368_10201521031967750_1651389758_n.jpg[/t] "Looks like I'm putting in $30"
Was there anything too stressful about it?
naw, it just didn't pay as much as I needed at the time
Just made breakfast, wasn't really sure what I wanted though. So, I made an omelette, waffles, and toast. [editline]25th January 2014[/editline] Update: It was all delicious.
Did you make me any :(
no
How dare you.
:(
this is an outrage
In response to the gas station I worked at a 24/7 one for 2 years. It was at a prime location so a lot of people would come by. Basically most of my job was filling fridges and coolers with beer/soft drinks and such on top of cash register stuff. You need to be patient because you'll hear the same Shitty fucking jokes every day and you'll have weirdos every now and then. I think the best thing about the job was my co-workers and when I go back there to buy some stuff I usually end up getting jump-hugged by 2 of the chicks there. Night shifts aren't that bad depending on where you live but they did contribute to my depression because it fucked my sleep schedule and 8 hours alone is too much to handle for me. So yeah basically the employees are gonna make it or break it. Not much to talk about though so I guess if you've got questions or something
Back from paintballing and a shower, I forgot how fun it is. Got about 5 people, one with a headshot who was on higher ground. I felt so awesome :v:

Where I live you are lucky to have a car last 6-8 years without needing any major work. Its just too humid, with too much variation in temps throughout the year and too much salt put on the roads during winter time with ice and snow to be good on cars.

Thank goodness us Michiganders don't have to face emissions and safety checks, because about 30-50% of the cars on the road wouldn't pass.
