Lucky you.[/QUOTE] There were 2-3 invite only ones going on by some pretty prominent (aka likely loaded) members of the fandom so that might be why, they all had free bar (but there was a tip jar). I'm sure there were a ton of smaller ones going on that were BYOB too The one in the pic is apparently done every year by the same group of people that organize it and the group involved all had their own personalized fraternity-style shirts being worn just for the party lol. My BF was apparently friends with one of them, and the rest is history. Also helps that apparently everyone the whole weekend thought we were an adorable couple :v:

Most people don't bother though I guess since its kind of a "last hurrah" party where you chat and just be real with people and friends you know in the fandom. Also because drinking and talking in a loud room is hard when theres a giant dog head over your head :v:
