If it's below freezing you shouldn't be running outdoors in the first place.
If it's below freezing, just run faster [editline]29th January 2014[/editline]
Most of the world, and most of the US, is still homophobic in case you haven't noticed.
that's more a matter of not calling random people on the street names and less homophobia
I usually am not a big fan of tomato soup, but hot damn it's amazing in the winter months
that's more a matter of not calling random people on the street names and less homophobia
The choice of words, as I understand it, is based on the appearance of the person in most cases. People don't do it randomly, they choose people to use homophobic language toward who they believe to be homosexual based on their appearance.
Why would you wear a jacket or anything like that while running? Unless you're jogging you can warm yourself up sufficiently just from the work. If it's below freezing you shouldn't be running outdoors in the first place.
You can run outside when it's below freezing with ice grips.
My female gecko laid her second batch. Let's hope the first will still hatch.
That jog was great. All the downhill roads turned into slip 'n slide. :v:
Holy moly it was like 40 Celsius today I was dying
I should really have a house in the UK and Australia so I can stay in perpetual summer.
I should really have a house in the UK and Australia so I can stay in perpetual summer.
There is a famous surfing movie called the endless summer where they spend a year traveling around the world to places where it was summer.
Australian summers are hotter than the deepest depths of hell. Houses are also super expensive here.
Australian summers are hotter than the deepest depths of hell. Houses are also super expensive here.
Why can't we ever get some sick snow that'd be boss
Why can't we ever get some sick snow that'd be boss
Snow in Western Australia would be fucking awesome. Never going to happen though... :c
Australian summers are hotter than the deepest depths of hell. Houses are also super expensive here.
Just because you live in a shithole desert, it's nice here in Queensland :v:
Australian summers are hotter than the deepest depths of hell. Houses are also super expensive here.
I'm from the UK so I'm used to the houses being super expensive. [editline]29th January 2014[/editline] I've actually never bought a house though, believe it or not.

[editline]29th January 2014[/editline] I've actually never bought a house though, believe it or not.
UK isn't that expensive, the average house price in Australia is $490,00AU/283,000 pounds. While the UK is ~ 176,000 pounds.
UK isn't that expensive, the average house price in Australia is $490,00AU/283,000 pounds. While the UK is ~ 176,000 pounds.
That comparison doesn't work because it doesn't include the size of the houses.
I need sleep. [sp]Oh lord please help me c:[/sp]
I just stretched and it kind of hurt. What is this world coming to.
Haven't kicked around here in ages. All I can say is I used to love the winter, now the ice makes me slip and damage my wrist instead of laugh. Also why the hell does it have to be -30°C with wind chill!?
People love quoting the wind chill factor to make it sound worse than it is.

Also why the hell does it have to be -30°C with wind chill!?
Same. I remember last year, I went to a restaurant with my parents for my birthday. It was abandoned - because the snow was about 5-6 inches deep and we decided to take a car. We got stuck on the side of a hill and for about 20 minutes we were trying to figure out a way to get down this icy hill without smashing every car on the way down. Anyways, that winter, practically every day, the small amount of walking I had to do would be filled with about 4 or so slips, but never falls. Was so annoying and pretty terrifying.
People need to buy ice grips they're like $5 god damn.
