Fuck that. It snows a lot here in Ohio and I love it. Hate it when we have winters where it doesn't snow at all... its like, what a waste of a winter! Yeah its irrating when I have to work in the snow as I am a delivery driver, but I enjoy snow so much and love it every time it snows. Much rather have days of snow that are grey and cold than days of just grey and cold without snow on the ground or snow falling. Might have to do with how I was raised though. I grew up as a kid in Georgia, where if it snowed at all it was a big treat. Once I turned 10-11 we moved to ohio where it snows regularly during winter. I imagine snow is much less exciting if you were born and raised with it around you all your life. I've been around it for almost 14 years and I still don't get tired of it :)
Also my mum said she's thinking of seeing if she can get me into some driving lessons for my birthday. So I'll probably be dead in about 7 months :v:
At least you won't have my driving instructor. Going 1mph, putting the steering wheel as far as it could, creeping along the corner whilst being outrun by a slug in a wheelchair. He slams on the brakes and yells at me "GOING TOO FAST, SLOW. DOWN. NOW." Goddamn I'm glad I don't have to do that, thanks lawchange.
I've owned 3 cars so far in my life.
having a car and a license seems like a lot of freedom at least <: that's something that I'm looking forward to most of all is not being restricted to walking or taking the bus to travel anywhere
The other reason is that both school and the gym are on the other sides of town :v:
Licenses and car = most freedom. But it also = never ending money pit.
The other reason is that both school and the gym are on the other sides of town :v:
a lot of things here are out of walking distance and public transit here is not stellar :x and it just sucks walking in the cold too driving is a much better option
driving is fun especially on the interstate during an apocalyptic snow storm!
And it just passed now. Same-sex marriage will come into law this year in Scotland.
I think the main reason my mum wants me to drive is so she can get to and from the high street quicker than using the bus, and because it would let us go to other places that aren't available by only bus or train which would be quite nice. too bad it all seems so complicated with the stick and the pedals and the buttons on the steering wheel.
I somewhat intentionally came out after my USSR-born dad made a joke about me bringing home a wife. He proceeded make clear how that his opinions on how society works were dug up alongside some medieval artifacts and was upset that i wasnt going to pass on my blood and culture to my babies and stop kebab from taking over. He also turned into a power-soviet romantic and quoted how sacred it is to give your life to an idea (the ideology of devoting your life to overpowering kebab with russian babies) but i zinged him pretty hard when i reminded him that islamic martyrs kill themselves over their sacred ideas all the time.
Driving has to be one of the least complicated things.
That makes it a rather deceptively uncomplicated thing in my eyes then :v:

LGBT in russia should seriously take self-defense classes or list some weights. Watching them get harassed and just taking it in is really unnerving and makes me sad/mad. :nws: :nws: :nws: I would seriously carry a machete with me at all times if people like this were out to get me.
That's disgusting as fuck. Those attackers only deserve to once find some gay dude that will hand it to them all.
Well off you go then, teach them a lesson! [editline]4th February 2014[/editline]
the people that run those groups are disgusting i wonder if you could cut their throats wide enough to put a dildo in there.
That'd make you worse than them.
the people that run those groups are disgusting i wonder if you could cut their throats wide enough to put a dildo in there.
You fucknut, now you put that fucking image into my head ;_; On the note of taking car lessons, I am about to take some this summer. I am so nervous.
Driving in the UK is too expensive. There's a 66% tax on fuel plus 20% VAT. That leaves 14% to be the actual cost of the fuel. Its about the equivalent of $10 US per gallon.
So I have a quick question for the people in this thread: I don't fully understand pansexuals, can someone explain for me?
fuck anything that walks on two legs

We also don't have as many public transportation options. We wouldn't drive a whole lot if the population density here was as tight as the UK.
So I have a quick question for the people in this thread: I don't fully understand pansexuals, can someone explain for me?
from what I understand, it means the same as what people generally mean when they say bisexual
i think the best way to explain it is non-judgemental bisexual.

Public transport is for plebs. [editline]4th February 2014[/editline] Thank fuck I can actually drive.
i think the best way to explain it is non-judgemental bisexual.
I don't care at all if someone is transgender and I've always just considered myself bisexual I suppose "bi" is kind of wrong in that case but oh well
Thank fuck I can actually drive.
took my car in for an MOT yesterday my mind melted out of boredom. i forgot how much of a difference having a car makes

Driving every morning to school sucked, and if I could, I'd get rid of my car. I blame the suburbs.
Ever heard about rust treatment/proofing. Not the black tar stuff they use at garage but the waxy oil they use at propper place, usually is between 80 and 150$ to treat the undercarriage and the insides of body panels/doors. Something that should be done yearly on cars that undergo any winters.
Yeah, the rocker panels on my car definitely have rust holes. It may be a bit late for that, though, the actually underbody just has a bit of corrosion and surface rust, nothing worrying yet. I just need a few more years out of it.
