Why is there like four other sharks in here now
Wow, that character does NOT work well in animal crossing's art style.
I hated having to drop out of school. Everyone in my family was so ready to see me walk on stage for my graduation, and I just felt like I let absolutely everyone down, even though I really had no other choice.
Somewhat the same here, I had a bit of trouble due to some of my work being lost to an IT bug or some shit, then I just lost all motivation and energy when my father got diagnosed & broke up in a very short window of time, knew I couldn't finish the year like that so I dropped out :/
Jesus, I have over 2k posts and I've only been around since June of last year.
I'm such a bitch.

I hear ya. When it comes to stuff like that, it's hard to just move on from it. I was told by my Economics teacher to "Suck it up".
Way easier said than done.
I wish some teachers would understand that what goes on outside of school DOES affect your performance and that it's not just being lazy.
Accept us! We shall be the rulers!.. of this thread!
Over my dead body!
Actually I like me and my body being alive but I still object to this.

Should've punched him, those kind of people are the worst. Seriously.
I'm no stranger to depression (second time, yay.) and there were people who told me to "suck it up" the first time, god it made (and makes) me so angry >:/

*Her, actually :v:
But yeah. I was severely depressed at that time and she just assumed that I was just lazy and didn't want to come to school. I explained to her exactly what was going on and she just went "Well, if you can walk to school, do that." I lived about 10 miles away from there. No way in hell was I walking.
No one liked her iirc. She would constantly patronize us as if we were bad kids or something. Any time someone was a millisecond late to class, it was because they were spiting her. If you had to go to the bathroom, you were going to just walk around the hallways for 30 minutes. If you yawned, you were mocking her. You couldn't fucking win with her.

No wonder.
Has anyone here ever had a morning where you wake up and just feel awful?
I've been waking up like that for a while now, its horrible.
Welcome to my life for the past year or so :/

I've heard too much stories of school IT systems losing work to not keep redundant backups on everything.
Whenever I print something, it usually goes on my dropbox and both of my keychain flash drives, and if that fails I can splashtop into my desktop to retrieve it. Hell, I go through about a laptop a year, so I kind of have to.

Yeah, it had worked just fine for like 2 years though, so I had begun foolishly putting my faith in it and hence a good bit of that work was lost... Really beat myself up over that.
I haven't left the house in two days... I need to do something.
Did someone mention sharks?
Uuuuugh, I don't have any gas. I have no way of getting anywhere besides riding my bike. :c

Hey, riding bike is great.
Until there's like really cold outside. Then it's not great.
I do enjoy riding my bike, but the problem is most of my friends live quite a ways away. :c

I haven't left mine in a week, I got stress fractures in my hips. GG
speaking of school, is it just me or does anyone else have this weird tendency to get sleepy when not sitting at a computer screen
I was horrible with trying to pay attention in high school because I'd always nod off at the worst times but now that I can tote my beloved laptops around without judgement I find that even staring at a PDF file of the lecture calms me down and helps me stay alert

Yeah, everytime a teacher told us to close our laptops so we could pay attention, it basically had the opposite effect. Fell asleep several times to that, especially towards the end of the year.
