I swear I followed that pdf and all it did was alienate me. I can barely understand 90% of the shit it tells me, and it seems to be more targeted towards professionals rather than beginners (not that I'm trying to dismiss your opinion, but it just seems almost out of my league). Even at this point if I could just learn to sketch competently, that would be more than enough. I've been lingering on this shit for two years and it hurts to constantly draw garbage again and again with little improvement.

I draw okay-ish. I used to focus on drawing mini-stick figures and bases. That was back in Freshman year though, so a long time ago. But like I said, you just got to keep drawing and try out different approaches until you find a style you're comfortable with and improve on it in ways you like and appreciate.
