No offence to anyone here but I must ask, if people are going to put restrictions on things that can and can't be said in this thread, I'm genuinely wondering what the point of this thread actually is, I mean being LGBT doesn't automatically mean any of us will actually like each other, a point that seems to be proven every other page, so it leads me to seriously question the point of this thread other than discussing coffee

That's true, i am not saying people should be limited to what they say. I'm saying they should mind how they say it. Because this thread has constant drama and that honestly got boring ten versions ago.

Well, it's okay to have a controversial opinion, it's just common sense to try and not be a dick about it - It's hard to take people who act like that serious, it's for their own benefit really if they want to be heard.
You can criticize without being offensive.
Lets just all post absolutely nothing from now on.

Agreed. It's not really about not liking eachother. More about respecting eachother. The problem is that people can't seem to respect other's opinions or lifestyle choices enough to not try and be a dick about it. It's one thing to have a discussion about it, but it's another thing to laud a person for having a different view and judge them. The fact is that we're all different, so we just need to cope with other's differences.
I wasn't even being offensive.
Personal beef against me I guess.

You were really passive aggressive in a couple of the posts, but it's beside the point; I have no beef with you, merely pointed out that some of your posts come off dickish whether you intended it or not, and you should try and mind it in the future.

My post wasn't aimed at you, personally I really don't care what you say so long as you don't act like a cunt
People are probably scared to post here cuz of this.
JUST SAYIN'
Well this, and I have friends who use FP and I was worried that they'd see me post here, but since a few months ago I just haven't given a fuck :v:
And yes, as a lurker myself I can say this is true. This is another reason why arguments and finger pointing shouldn't happen outside of PMs.

Imo some lifestyle and choices are genuinely stupid and if someone makes them sometimes being up in their face about it is the only way for them to understand because they are so dense. Like not right away but after a point it's pointless being respectful.

Well when it comes to doing insanely stupid shit like doing a whole bunch of drugs, then yeah, it's for their own good.
But when it comes to something like dying your hair or buying a dildo or something, it's not going to hurt them or anything, so there's no need to be a dick about it to them.

I don't know dying your hair bright yellow is usually not a good idea.

gay thread rules:
1. no being too gay, it gives gay people a bad name
2. no not being gay enough, it's the gay thread not a general chat thread
3. no being depressed, gay people are supposed to be happy
4. 3 conflicts with 1, see 5:
5. rules are made up as we go, aren't actually rules but really just things we invent to complain about each other
I don't know dying your hair bright yellow is usually not a good idea.
Eh. Maybe not to you, but calling someone dumb for doing it is just rude.
It all really boils down to just simply not being a dick about the things people do or say, even if you DO find it insanely stupid.
If someone's doing something that could hurt others or themselves, then maybe the time to be a dick about it is right. Otherwise, no need for it.

It makes people not take seriously which is dumb.

That. Live and let live, don't make a fucking parade about even the slightest thing you don't like. That guy wanna look like a sunflower? Good for him. Find it stupid? Say it once kindly. Doesn't get trough? Pass.

Everyone's happy and let's all cuddle Yay! God forbid someone does something stupid and he's called out on it we should be rewarding him
I'd rather nobody call anyone dumb. That's how shit is started.
wat
Everyone's happy and let's all cuddle Yay! God forbid someone does something stupid and he's called out on it we should be rewarding him
If it's harmless, then why call them out? That's just gonna lead to 3 page argument over dumb shit.
It'd be different if they constantly did this over and over again and felt the need to tell us about it every time to the point of annoyance, but that's usually not the case.
Let them be dumb as long as they aren't a danger to themselves or others. And it's not rewarding him.

It doesn't harm anyone but it's still annoying when they post dumbshit every day
Weekly drama eh?
It doesn't harm anyone but it's still annoying when they post dumbshit every day
Then tell them to kindly stop?
Being confrontational about everything doesn't do any good. That's how drama is started and that's why it's started all the time.
Just let it be. It's okay to think someone or something someone is dumb, but actually calling them dumb when there's literally no need to is kinda assholish.

How the fuck do you do that on a forum tho. Nobody will take you seriously ever if you say "it would be appreciated if you stopped" it actually even sounds more dickish

How is that more dickish than something like "fucking stop no one cares?"
People won't take you seriously if you're just hostile all the time about it.

That's where we disagree. Whatever to each his own
Yay for agreeing to disagree :v:
So my state tax return came in today, hoping my federal comes by Monday. I also hope someone gets back to me for any of the 10+ applications I put in, but I'm not going to be too optimistic about that just yet.
