Just finished repainting my armor and repairing it from top to bottom. My colonial marine armor.
All that left is to put some custom artwork and such.
Anyone have good ideas for things to be painted on? Examples: "I'm with Stupid ->", "Contents Under Pressure", "Bug Exterminator".
"Born to Squash"
"Remove before Flight"
"Warning: Dangerous Animal"

I would but i'm in the honest hearts bit becasue I finished Big MT without ever knowing I could do that :v:
so yeah... I've aced through two job interviews, if everything goes well, I'll be going to a third one where a contract will be decided on.
That would get me from "struggling artist without profit" to "If my friends at university are lucky they'll make this kind of dosh in 10 years"
I'd be a successful mother fucker. Take that, people who laughed at me when I said I wanted to be an artist. Take that parents who told me to get into construction because there is no money in art.
Yeah act 5 and 6 were too much of a fucking drag I just stopped caring
The problem for me was I was so happy when act 4 or 5 or whatever ended and Hussie had killed off all the useless characters and was starting to finally progress. THEN HE INTRODUCED AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE OR WHATEVER ALONG WITH TWENTY MORE FUCKING USELESS CHARACTERS
So I quit reading.
I quit Homestuck sometime into Act 6 I think. Just more fuckery in chat logs that I couldn't be bothered to drag myself through. Wouldn't say I'm never going back though - I might one day. I dunno.
Got all these for £4 today at a charity shop. Fairly good deal.
because it was made for touchscreens. W8 isn't that bad, it has some good things to it. It's literally like vista, vista offered some good features but was too bogged down by microsoft's shitty direction that the cons outweighed the pros.
W8 is fucking great for laptops, especially if you have a touchscreen laptop (which are totally great). I like how all the gestures integrate with the trackpad too.
However its not really that great for desktops. I have it for desktop and find it largely pointless. At least it runs better and starts up quick so its not a big deal, just nothing signifigant over windows 7

I'm fine with my 8.1 desktop. I mean it doesnt crash every nine fucking seconds like vista did. So really the only thing that gets me is the god damn start menu and how it invades the top left of my screen so every time I want to check my fucking bookmarks I get teleported to my picture browser or some shit WHICH BY THE WAY WAS BETTER WHEN IT WAS JUST A WINDOW. NEVERMIND WHAT I JUST SAID WINDOWS 8 WORST PC ALL YEARS!
I don't want to go to work. :(
My boss sighs really loud at me a lot and I ask too many of the same questions. It's taking forever for me to remember simple things (I seriously still have hardly any clue on what to mostly do when a customer gives me their lottery tickets). Our work is also understaffed, so I'm always dealing with super long lines. :(

Keep fighting the good fight kala.
You people are strong, I read homestuck for like 10 minutes and said "fuck this"
Get on my level, I'm fully updated on Homestuck.
[sp]Holy shit was it tedious to read all chatlogs.[/sp]
-AHEM- BUT ANYWAYS How are you all today? :)
All things considered, sorta good; heading off to pick up my brother at the airport in an hour or so, then we'll swing by a friend of his for some cannabis, then home again.
My sister suddenly got back into homestuck and won't be quiet about because she knows I read it before.
Someone help me

Strength can allow people to spend vast lengths of time doing very stupid things. Like read Homestuck.

The toaster is the best character in any fallout game.
The part that stopped me for a moment was when I was wandering in big MT and one of those skeletons in a suit went "Hey, who turned out the lights?"
That brought back some memories.

If you don't know how to do something, ask your boss
-snip nvm-

Don't worry this is called being the new guy. Keep calm and stuff, don't try rushing too hard to compensate or you'll make mistakes.
When it's quiet make sure you check with your boss on what to do if x and y, that way you don't have to rush to him when it's busy, there's a queue and you're both getting stressed out.

Also on the homestuck topic: my friend told me to read it once, early 2013, so we could talk about it and stuff.
I had no idea how long it was.
I read it all.
I attempted to get into Homestuck but then I discovered it was trash [sp]opinion[/sp] so
I find it really weird that act 6 seems new to me but the last I read was maybe 2 years ago now. Like jeez.
It's Friday! Just got - mildly- tipsy with a couple of friends, we're going to go out soon and watch another friend swim in the state finals. So many hot guys in speedos.
Forgive me Padre for I have sinned.
Any who, what are you all doing tonight?

it takes time to learn with any job though, every day you're getting better and better at it, more consistent with what you need to do, etc.
I wouldn't worry too much about what others think because at the end of the day you're there making a paycheque for yourself, and learning for yourself
especially where I work there's a lot of bitter, scary people but I just go there to do the best job I can, I still learn new things every day
