Actually, when it comes to just a mild thunderstorm, I'm okay. It's just the wind and stuff that really gets me.

I live in a place with a lot of trees and I'm always scared that one will topple completely onto the house and into my room.

The last time I remember hearing lightning here in California was long ago. I mean, I seen others before, but an actual worth while lightning. It was loud as hell, figured it'd shattered my windows. Way worse then the army base up north doing drills.
