hey nerds what's up with that weird group chat i was randomly invited to on steam? it had like a hundred people chatting in it a few days ago but now it's completely dead. [editline]8th February 2014[/editline] also life blog update: got a new phone and none of my accounts were stolen so i'm good. still gotta pay off the insurance deductible and a bunch of other boring crap. owing money sucks.

While thrift shopping today, me and my boyfriend ran into a 100+ VHS box set of Dragon Ball Z just sitting on the floor of the antiques section, and got a really nice espresso machine for 8$. I also applied for 4 more jobs yesterday so hopefully I'll have a job before the end of the month.

Yeah apparently any kind of group instant messaging chat dies after the first day. The Hangouts one is a bit of a wasteland right but was pretty active for a good 3-4 weeks. Although you can easily see what you missed on Hangouts, not on Steam though. I guess people are just busy?

If you ignore a friend request and they try to add you again it won't let them, similar to being blocked. I think it's a wait time of around 7 days before the same person can send another invite.
