You might be thinking of Tiberian Sun Reborn which did take place during Tiberian Sun :v:
Renegade X is Tiberium Dawn era if I'm not wrong.

C&C Renegade and Renegade X take place during the first Tiberium War.

Bored, lonely, no drive to do homework, tired...
I should really read up on the command and conquer lore. Seems interesting.
Maybe some styles, but I did pretty much nothing with my long hair aside from washing it. Short hair I have to style, get regular haircuts, make sure to keep neck hair trimmed. Mostly it's just going to get haircuts that I don't like doing. I'm just lazy I guess, that's the root of all my complaints haha
I just let my hair dry and it curls up naturally its p awesome

the OST for tiberian dawn is fucking godlike.
I miss my long hair but my short hair is cool too. There's part of me that wants to be a full blown eccentric though, and having normal hair goes against that. Maybe one day I'll lose the plot though, and I'll be sure to update you all on when and if that happens.
Some days I miss my long hair... but I'm not sure if I miss it because I actually liked having long hair, or just because it's a haircut I can't have again unless I want to wait for a year.
That reminds me, When you had your long hair, it reminded me of like General Custer or just a U.S. Calvary man.

Is it possible to either build up a tolerance or have a natural tolerance towards caffeine? Coffee isn't doing anything for me anymore, I've had three mugs of it and still managed to fall asleep and it's not cool at all man.

Yes. You can build up a tolerance for caffine. Caffine doesn't work for me at all anymore since I've drank it for so long, but I'm addicted to it still. I need to drink coffee so I feel "normal". Goin' dry turkey when I went to basic was awful, I had no energy what so ever for the first week or two.

Three mugs?! What the Christ!
Also, god damnit i really loathe the guy who works nights at the 711 down the street from my place on campus. I almost always get him and he's a complete prick to me everytime. He constantly shafts me on change, always grabs the wrong stuff, often forgets to give me everything i asked, he never talks to you or greets you, he never looks at you and instead through you staring at people in the store because he thinks everyone is shoplifting. I swear he does this intentionally too and he always cards me when i get any tobacco products which, sure that's fine it is their job after all, but this guy knows im over 18 since i go there so heavily. But he always cards me but never actually looks at it, he just waits for me to go through the effort of pulling my wallet out and by the time i have the id itself almost out of my wallet he's already scanned the pack/tin of whatever i'm getting and is waiting for me to give him the money. Never looks at it at all.
I'm about to go there now, how you much you want to bet i get this same guy, and when i ask for what i want i have to make him grab 3 other things before he actually grabs what i want. I'm really specific in describing the packaging too.
You just described me. You need to relax and try to understand their situation. I'm stressed out when I work and multitasking at a stationstore is a much more difficuly task than with other 'retail' servicey places.
I always card the same people every day over and over because 300 new faces come in every day and it's hard to track somebody you don't really try to talk to. If you're a snarky butthole who shows that you dont want to interact with me then my self-esteem plummets and I'm even less likely to talk to you back. I don't grab the right shit from behind the counter because I don't smoke tobacco and unfortunately "CAMEL TURKISH BLENDS SILVER 72s" are sorta hard to find in a sea of 50 different camel brands completely mixed up with every other brand of cigarettes and their own flavors. Shit's hard to find yo, and training to find where it is doesn't really go beyond just naturally finding out where things are with your eyes. There's people at my work who's worked with the gas station for over 15 years and they're still unable to find everything behind the counter. It changes a lot and new/old things are always being replaced without notice.
People shoplift a ton at my work to the point where coworkers don't even bother a guy who shoves 3 large bags of doritos into his jacket (this happened on my first day).
If I ran into you at my work i'd break down and start crying THANKS DUDE

Yes, and it's very easy to depend on it to feel normal and not get a headache.
Often people drink caffeine thinking it makes them function better when it's actually just stopping the withdrawal and letting them function normally.
I dont like when some guys say they look better with long hair, Then they get long hair and I have to look at their frizzy unkempt mop and then they get mad when I suggest to cut it.
Guys, I understand it's girly and gay or something to have long hair. But sometimes you just look 700 times more attractive with shorter hair. Gosh.
This obviously doesn't apply to everybody. But theres currently an overabundance of dudes growing their hair our thinking they look awesome, unaware that most adults view their appearance as 'lazy probably unemployed teenager'.

I get the same feeling, which is why I always get an extra shot in my coffee.
I was actually thinking of cutting my hair..
What do you guys think?
your hair was some of the best I'd ever seen posted in this thread
obviously it would still be really healthy looking and nice if it was short but you pull off long hair really well

Ummm. Lecture? I said "I dont like when..."
I'm pretty sure "I dont like when..." is literally the most obvious defining phrase for identifying an opinion. Do you know what an opinion is?
Please don't be an ass for no reason.

you're also still very new at this point, don't assume the customer is the problem
when you get proficient at your job is when you really have the ability to say "yeah, this customer's a fucking idiot" etc
i'm not at all familiar with cigs, but camel turkish silver 72s probably means the turkish blend, silver (iirc it's the ultra light blend), in a 72 pack

Customers in general should stop being buttholes. You're getting angry at some miserable dude earning pennies an hour to service you. Nobody working in retail deserves this crap.
I learned not to expect anything for customers. Just act like a proper employee, and if they still act like dicks, just keep acting properly.
Also, backroom work is great for people who don't want to deal with customers. The only customers you get are the idiots walking through the employee's only door.

Any suggested caffeine-free drinks to replace tea/coffee? I read this post, remembered that I wanted to try eating and drinking healthier, remembered that I'm an irritable person and that caffeine is something cited as a reason for irritability, and decided right here right now, I am quitting tea and coffee as a regular drink.
Little did I know 10 minutes ago that I had already had my last cup of tea. I had an unstarted cup of tea sitting in front of me as I read and pondered, and decided that I wouldn't drink it. I would not have a decided final cup of tea. I walked shirtless into the cold winter evening and poured that cup of tea on my head in a ridiculous kind of ritualistic cleansing thing. From now I am tea-free.
Getting hella mad I missed that Rome 2 sale.

Nope.
I'm nothing but friendly to this guy, i greet him each time with a smile, say hello, then ask for what i want.
I tell him, specifically, like INCREDIBLY specifically what i want. If im getting dipping tobacco:
"can i get a tin of skoal xtra mint, pouches. The blue tin with the gold rim on that shelf"
I literally started pointing it out because he would get it wrong. I get that theres so many different kinds of tobaccos hence why i was ALWAYS specific. When he would grab the wrong thing, then ignore me when i tell him it's the wrong thing, i got annoyed enough that i now literally tell him exactly where it is and point to it and he still grabs the wrong thing.
This guy knows me, he literally knows who i am, i am in that 711 a minmal of 2 times a night and get him. I'm always wearing the exact same thing too, he has on occasion recognized me.
This guy is a dick, and i don't care if you're emotionally sensitive and would break down if you had me because thats not my fault. I am probably one of the nicest customers you'd get, i work retail i know shit gets busy and you could not be in a good mood, but guess what that's professionalism. I go to work on terrible days where i'm incredibly depressed and completely despondent. But when i get asked a question or have to help someone "Oh sure sir, yes the bathrooms are straight down the hall to your left, oh no problem have a great night". This guy never looks at you, rarely acknowledged you, he has consistently tried to shaft me on change, and i'm not talking a few cents, i'm talking 3-4 dollars here. He also doesn't give me what i want, i'll ask for two hot dogs, he rings me up for 3 and gives me 1. He's done this, twice.
I have bad days and im stressed out but at least i treat people with respect and service them admirably and do. my. job.
Don't like it kal? then quit.

They should but they won't and like it or not you have to be nice to them - you are being paid to do that very thing. Customers can be assholes a lot of the time, just get used to it.

Well think of it this way, you could always grow it back out and impersonate Buschemi. That's always a plus!

See i told you man. You know my complete addiction and love affair with coffee, and i remember telling you how i don't drink coffee for energy because it doesn't give me it. At the very best it will perk me up slightly after getting up.
But god damn do i still love that magical elixir.

Kal, you've had this job for what? a month?
Yeah, i've been working retail for over 4 years. I think i have more experience with you and let me tell you this: people are dicks, that will never change. You're being paid to service them with a smile, do it.
Hell i have to call the police almost every weekend because of something happening where i work but i still treat even the people i'm calling the cops on with respect.
If it means anything, I haven't found a 7 11 where the employees are very hospitable. I just go to a smoke shop that i visit maybe a few times a week and the dude behind the counter is already reaching for my pack when i'm just about at the counter.
Not that the dude is in the right for the way he acts, but its wise to avoid situations like that just for the sake of making an everyday thing less annoying and stressful, because otherwise you kinda have to deal with it, or complain and have some dude lose his job because he can't find your preffered tobacco immediately everyday.

They call it customer service for a reason dude. You are getting payed to put up with people and help them. None of this "You dont know what I deal with" shit will cut it on the job.
