www.aljazeera.com is a pretty unbiased place for getting news too. Contains more international news than other websites I know of. God save you all if you've ever witnessed CNNs American frontpage, it's like a PEOPLE magazine.
Al Jazeera has been known to be bias towards muslim and middle eastern influences. They showed bias towards the muslim brotherhood in Egypt, showing them almost as good guy instead of reporting on what happened and nothing else.

Atleast they only show that when its concerning the Middle East/Muslims, elsewhere I'd take AlJazeera over standard U.S. news any day.
Back at the dorms, and it's starting to sound like sleet out there. Hope I don't have class tomorrow. [editline]2nd March 2014[/editline] I can finally watch streams again, but now I have to go back to dealing with my browser being a derp. Youtube freezes for a second or two every time I load a video, Twitter freezes when I try to look at DMs...
TV has Top Gear. Are you disrespecting Top Gear?
Sorry. Fuck USA Television. As far as I'm aware, Top Gear is in the UK. Apparently we get Top Gear USA which is not as good as Top Gear.
As far as I'm aware, Top Gear is in the UK. Apparently we get Top Gear USA which is not as good as Top Gear.
UK Top Gear shows up on BBC America, but usually an episode behind, iirc
I don't have class tomorrow. Time for an all-night film marathon. Starting with The Truman Show, anything else I should watch?
So you'll probably never see my post but: It's because it's fun, especially if you ignore the people who use their bikes as fashion accessories. I used a fixed gear which I added a freewheel to and changed to a single speed and it's good fun and keeps you really fit, you also instinctively go faster to maintain momentum since you can't rely on gears so you get places quicker, you think "if I go faster, this hill will be over sooner" rather than "oh, a hill, better just go into low gear and wait to ride it out". I found myself going much faster than every other cyclist in the city. Not having to worry about gears is a thing as well,
Perhaps it's because most of the fixies i see are just that, custom bikes that look crazy expensive. The hill thing seems like a good way to get excellent leg muscles, but there are some hills you simply cant climb with a gear that'd get any decent speed on flat ground. Also, most overtaking occurs on the inner-city roads, its beneficial to be able to speed off from a red light if you've had to stop so you don't catch any more red lights, and out-accelerating the trams before they reach their stop and im obliged to stop and wait for the passengers.
Hey. Everyone. Go search Grim_2o0o on google and go to images.
what else was there to expect
Soo ermm. I'm going to be getting my first "toy" soon. [sp]Is water lube good or not? I have no idea. also I'm getting a fleshlight.[/sp]
Always go water for toys Silicone based lubricant wears down silicone based toys and is harder to clean up. The upside is that silicone lasts a lot longer.
As far as I'm aware, Top Gear is in the UK. Apparently we get Top Gear USA which is not as good as Top Gear.
Fact: None of the other Top Gears are as good as UK Top Gear.

They're fun bikes and easy to make. I made mine by buying a cheap bike for the frame, gutting it then replacing the parts, including wheels, with old freebies from friends or cheap ebay finds. [editline]3rd March 2014[/editline] I probably spent £300 and it rode like a bike worth 3 times as much.
The BBC has a legal obligation to be impartial when reporting as well, something which is exceedingly rare.
Although on rare occasions that causes them to create opposing sides to stories that don't really have them.
So I made another video about Strike Vector AKA it's where I try and convince you to buy it via good music
Although on rare occasions that causes them to create opposing sides to stories that don't really have them.
What do you mean?
Watched the videos tagged stand up on LGBTQ Laughs. There are a lot of lesbians/bi women in comedy. [editline]3rd March 2014[/editline] New fave
What do you mean?
Well, if memory serves, they did it with the Bogdanov affair. It was represented as a debate over whether it was a hoax, when what was actually taking place was more of a discussion on the nature of the peer reviews system.

Who else here watches streams on twitch? I'm kinda a complete stream zombie. I always seems to have a stream open and I might not even watch it but just have it for background noise.
Who else here watches streams on twitch? I'm kinda a complete stream zombie. [editline]2nd March 2014[/editline] Also yeah, I do the same thing.
I'm totally the same with background noise, although none of the streamers I like are on often enough to have 'em open often. I usually do it with >half hour youtube videos/playlists.
You were literally just talking to me. [editline]2nd March 2014[/editline] Also yeah, I do the same thing.
I know I just was but I wanted to ask other people. (Also I kinda have a crush on m1. He's a cutie)
I know I just was but I wanted to ask other people. (Also I kinda have a crush on m1. He's a cutie)
/srg/'s totally convinced M1's a pedophile.
/srg/'s totally convinced M1's a pedophile.
I know and I've seen the pictures but I am just going to believe he's trolling or something.
Who is M1?
A guy who speed runs video games on twitch here. Edit: Here is a video of him getting slapped by another runner named azorae at agdq.
Wow looks like I hit a nerve, I thought it was just some silly drama about a guy who streams games.
Oh who cares then.
Who shat in your cereal? [editline]2nd March 2014[/editline] Again
