Mormons are not allowed to: - drink coffee, tea, or alcoholic beverages - have sex aside from the sole purpose of procreation and within marriage - have facial hair or long hair (if male) - wear clothing that exposes shoulders or midriff (unless it's a bathing suit) - smoke tobacco - use profanity (I knew a few Mormons that did this regardless) - watch movies rated higher than PG - do anything beside from church and/or church-related activities on Sundays And on top of this, all faithful Mormons: - pay 10% of profit to tithing - have a full-time "calling" (a volunteer role within the church) - visit the temple regularly - get married (God's way, of course) and have kids regardless of financial situation. I could write a book about how fucked up Mormonism is. I'd be more than happy to tell anyone anything they'd want to know about it. And yes, it's every bit as bad as you'd think it would be.

I have a friend who went on his, and abandoned the religion a few months after he returned.

You leave when you're 18, or at least you're supposed to. I fortunately figured out it was bullshit when I was about 15, which is a lot younger than most people. I have heard about all sorts of shit happening on missions. There was an old forum thread full of funny mission stories, ranging from having secret cell phones to having sex with your mission companion after realizing you were gay to organizing an orgy in the baptismal font. Good times.

So, I am currently enjoying my spring break. Or at least I would if I didn't have headache, my eyes wouldn't constantly burn and just didn't feel like shit. And my painkillers decided to play hide and seek with me.

Spring break for me too. Playing mgs3 staying up late and going for a coffee with someone. That's my plan for the first few days

talkin about spring break what the fuck we have a foot and a half of snow here the icicles on the side of my house wouldve begun reaching the ground if the freezing rain and cloudy days had kept up, praise the goddamn sun there was a really big one and it made me think about that conversation that seems to pop up here sometimes about putting ice cubes in your ass i was sad to see it melt
