Here's my car, borrowed it from Mermaid Man.
I share a white Mustang with my brother. He does all of the driving while we're at college.
After living here for over half a year, I finally went out and got my Washington license plates.
Maybe not as interesting as sex toy adventures, but I'm still glad to have gotten it done.
You're just jealous because I ordered one that shoots a grappling hook.
Anybody here ever had a speech class in college?
I have to take one to get my associates degree. I've been really scared because I have bad self esteem.
But I looked up reviews on the teacher I'm going to get and the reviews made me feel better.
This is great, because if I pass that class then I will have no trouble getting my degree. :) I'll be in the clear!
I am also doing excellent in math, I failed most of the homeworks but the tests are take-home and I just use my resources properly and I get A's and B's on them.
I failed math my first semester in college, and I took a pre-algebra class (I'm really bad at math) but God or something intervened and I got to take accredited classes instead of college preparatory.
We're doing the financial chapter next, I am really nervous. I am horrible at that stuff.

Currently taking a speech class. Public speaking skills and social skills aren't necessarily the same, many social people still flounder when they give a speech, and many quiet people have given pretty good speeches. So most people in your class will be on your level, or you may even be better than them.
My social skills are pretty good, and I still tend to talk too fast and make various other errors while giving a speech.
If you make a PowerPoint to supplement your speech, don't read off of it. It's a supplementary. Ideally it's mostly pictures.
I do public speaking a lot.
Feign confidence and don't look at people's reactions because people will always look bored or like they disagree.

I have great social skills, sort of. I mean I am completely fine around people I know well.
I had to present a thesis in english, and I went up there and froze up and had to sit down.
I've never had that happen to me for a presentation but it happened.
I think I'm going to wind up addicted to xanax, haha.
I have a massive, currently frozen, white Pathfinder that's from 2005. Handmedown from my sister that I have driven only once or twice.
Once it warms up though, hell I'm getting my license and driving to...uh...uh
fuck
Too lazy to do anything other than exist right now.

Existing is pretty great. Especially when you can just exist in bed all day sometimes.
I have to exist at uni today
That means being concious at 8am to get the train

For an aging game, Half Life 2 is still such a solid game.
I never not have fun every time I install it.

I'm shy as hell yet I've never had a problem with public speaking for some reason
It's more comfortable knowing you're the focal point of the room than not being sure

This Friday I get to deliver a presentation c:
I love talking in front of others in presentations/project stuff
I can't stand talking to new people though...I'm afraid I'd hurt them verbally some way and ruin a first impression

I have had a college speaking class.
If its in a classroom setting, most students will probably not care, be worried about their own presentation or be distracted to really be critical about what you do. Really, the only one who will actually care is your instructor (or whoever is rating you).
And yes, don't read off your Powerpoint or note cards. 99% of the time, people who do that are horribly uninteresting to listen to. You can put notes, but only to make sure you keep on track or to jog your memory if you forget something.
I've actually done a couple of these in the past few years at uni, and although I'm still incredibly nervous, they usually work out just fine. Just know your content and for the most part it will start taking care of itself.

I wish I could do this. I can't even bother to do an assignment that involves me showing anything to anyone else but my teacher. Even showing it to my teacher is hard to do. I got five assignments that I just have no will to finish because my school has turned really bad this last year. It's a hellhole.
Also good night to everyone.

Ive had an exchange student with broken french reading a powerpoint for 20 minutes and stumbling on every word
It was the most painful presentation i've ever seen
Thanx for all the feedback guys.

Its noticeably the foreign exchange students that are the worst offenders of this. I mean fair enough, English isn't their native language. And some people are just not very good at talking without some sort of assistance, let alone in a different langauge. But god I always dread them.

I'm surprised that "BIMBO" was one that the SDDoR let through. A girl in my class in high school had that one on their Taurus.

If installing it is that much fun, you won't believe how much fun actually playing it will be
