Also, I used to have dreams sometimes of this group of friends I knew who all committed suicide. I've long since moved past that, but it's still heavy to think about.
I knew a guy for all of secondary, and a few months after I left college (which by pure chance he'd ended up in the same class as me for) I got news he had passed from some kind of brain problem I can't fully recall.
I wasn't like close to the guy but it still throws me occasionally to know that someone I knew just isn't there anymore.
Makes me remember that regardless of who we are and how old we may be, at any given time it might all end just like that, suddenly and without warning.

Fucking WHAT
Apparently when I installed steam again (I didn't even uninstall it, just did a reinstall because somehow steam.exe got corrupted and I was running steam off a non-installed version) it deleted EVERY GAME and ALL the files inside on ALL drives outside of the default steam drive.
So all my games not already installed on C: (where steam is installed) got wiped for some reason. Lost everything, all the mods/saves/etc
How the fucking hell did that happen? I thought it was supposed to be totally safe to do that? Why the hell would it even wipe everything anyways? Only program I know that wipes all files regardless if I put it there or not. Jesus its gonna take forever to redownload everything and get all my games back to where they were. Arma 3 especially...

Yeah that's happened to me before. Fortunately, that was back before I had as many games. As a precaution, I always move the files to a different directory when I reinstall Steam now.
