At least I made good out of this week, applied for college, (more than likely) passed my interview for college, then obviously on the most important side of things, beat Punch-Out!!
Best of luck to you man, honestly. By this time next year i'll probably be dropping out unfortunately.
Best of luck to you man, honestly. By this time next year i'll probably be dropping out unfortunately.
I'd potentionally do the same too. It isn't gradewise but it is because of my interest. I mean like electronics is something rather cool; building amplifier circuits or be nanotechnology but it isn't really the field I want. I only have like less than one year remaining left til graduation (if nothing goes wrong). The field isn't really confusing, I can fully understand and see me do demos of it. But I rather have it as a personal hobby than actual work.
I decided to check my weight, I weigh 58 kg. 127 pounds according to Google.
73kg (161lb) Feelin' like Big G
I just realised that I am unable to tell what happened from Monday to now. Everything's mixed together and I don't have standing points in that mesh that would help me.

I've been completely locked out from my every single course having to do with my major aside from 2 intro courses since i've started. If i'm really lucky the earliest i can take a single course relating to my major is spring in my junior year. I've already run out of gen ed requirements to take, and to meet minimal credits course wise i've had to enroll in a minor. If i do drop out though, which i'd rather not, i plan to immediately enroll in a tech school. I'm going for information science technologies, you don't need to go to a university for those. I only enrolled in this program at a university because this university carries some heft in major major companies. I could get the same education at a tech school sans the name. Something important happened in a friends life and i was just talking to him. Asked him how he was since it was only a day ago that i remembered him telling me, but apparently it was a solid week ago.
-snip because I can't get this goddamn link to work- [editline]7th March 2014[/editline] Post already guys, drown my shameful post in pointless coffee talk!
Man who needs to actually go outside when you have gmod [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/468677929510795841/14D69607A595BD74B1A509BA54EB1F6A7F033A38/[/t] Playing with the sky/sun/fog editor can get some pretty results
Man who needs to actually outside when you have gmod
Why would anyone ever outside when you can always computer?
Why would anyone ever outside when you can always computer?
Fuck :v:
What's an outside?
But what really happened in your math pre-requisites? Did you flunked or had an incomplete work which set the incomplete F grade? Kind of what happened to in my maths too, got D and C's since most of the professors were badly explaining how to do it, had too many chapters to study in one day and I never bothered to open the bloody book to at least do some math problem. I had like an incomplete F in my first semester at precalc because I simply forgot the date of the final exam. But thankfully she had the heart of a saint and let me take it within next semester.
Essentially for every single math class since 5th grade here i've juuuust skimmed past. But my other grades were so high that i kept a 3.5 gpa or so each year. That doesn't fly in universities. So i had to take an elementary algebra class which i just barely failed with a d+ (needed a c- minimally). Had to retake that and took it in a summer semester. Then took college algebra which i failed, twice, both with straight F's. In order to take a class a third time i had to petition the school which gave me a choice between retaking the placement test and testing in to my 3rd attempt or take elementary or intermediate algebra. So i'm here in intermediate, will most likely fail despite me being fairly certain i understand the material this time around. I just missed passing my first exam by 3 points, all from very minor things. Math son, i can't do it.
I'd hate to have the burden for this on you guys, but I need a bit of advice. My boyfriend wants to come visit me tomorrow or the next day, but the problem is I'm sick and I feel like I'm getting sicker. He doesn't have a whole hell of a lot of opportunities to do this with me, and he's worked so hard to actually manage to free up enough time for us to hang out, but I'm scared I'm gonna keep getting sicker while he's here. Right now I only feel miserable, but not full blown sick, right at the moment, and I'm hoping I can stay this way at least, but I can't guarantee it. I really don't know what I should do

I have, I guess I'm just looking for any advice at all Especially anyone who happens to have a magic cure for a cold :v:
I have, I guess I'm just looking for any advice at all Especially anyone who happens to have a magic cure for a cold :v:
Well, I can only tell you what I'd personally do (which would be see my boyfriend as much as possible almost regardless of the circumstances), but that doesn't mean that's the right decision for you. And just drink lots of warm drinks/soups, seems to help me, or at least make me feel better.

I pretty much started to have problems with math in 9th grade or so, too bad comparing it to US means its 6th grade level or less. So I'm pretty much in your shoes now. Right now, I can't really understand this at all: http://physicspr.com/PDF/teel2041/Clase27enero2014TEEL2042.pdf Let alone do an exercise like this one: [t]http://i.imgur.com/h3KRlmH.png[/t] You might not really understand jackshit about it, but buying the book for it and taking like already 20 classes + the previous course related to this yet passing it and not understand one thing (if you expect me to do this, I leave the paper with my name and that's it) while having in mind the previous grades is pretty much killing my motivation to even try pass the course. Like, this is Basic Electronics 2. I passed the first one with a C even though I flunked REALLY hard the other exams. But then again, the whole course is pretty much pre-calc but with circuits. Actually we need to talk this more on steam maybe I can help you here and not rather fill this thread with geek math stuff. :v:

Spending 4 hours drawing the NES Punch Out portraits was probably the biggest waste of time in my whole life in that I could've done something better with my time instead. Time for TF2 with that in mind.

I only have 5-6 classes to go and one of them is math (still going to take me till next spring to graduate because all of them are offered only certain times in the year). Really, really not looking forward to it. I have to place into it as well. And our math department at our school is famously bad - every teacher is foreign and impossible to understand except one or two. it got so bad that they stopped posting what teachers were teaching classes you sign up for in the math department because people would literally never take math unless they knew they were getting the one or two non-foreign math teachers. Or have him nurse you <3 I mean it won't be what he imagined when he comes over I bet but it'll still be spending time together.
My uni is extremely filled with foreign professors, there's a few from my country but it doesn't show that much in the major I'm taking. Some of them teach really good, others are so plainly horrible that I can't even tell they're actually making fun of us or they don't know how to do a class. I still managed to pass them with a good grade rather than the average C.
Shreonk, the Godzilla presentation went swimmingly [sp] 96% :3[/sp]
32 Kills, 1 Death and 5 Assists with Wraith King as my random choice in Dota 2. I don't think I'll ever get that lucky again :v:
Wish I didn't have work today.
Spring break starts this weekend. Took the week off from work until next weekend. Whoop, finally, some downtime! Its going to be magical. And I get to see an ENT this Wed to hopefully resolve sinus issues.
Speaking of meeting people. These dudes from OKC want to meet me and it's kinda getting a little unnerving. I sorta want to but at the same time I don't want to risk the embarassment. All of these guys think I have a 'cute' sort of shy, not the 'awkward creep' kind of shy. We've only talked a few days on skype, nothing else really. They have no idea
I can't wait for next weekend. Friday I leave for New York, where I get to spend four/five days with some good friends and my girlfriend doing the things I and everyone else loves to (hint: it's all music related :v) And when I get back it's spring break.
Woke up at 11, went to the computer lab at 12 and worked for almost 4 hours, just got back to the dorm, gonna go back to the computer lab at 4:45 and stay there playing vidya 'til 8:30 or 9. Pretty much my typical Friday.
Kneeling for 4 hours on your chair then moving your knee is probably one of the most painful things a human can suffer.
