There's the date of March 9th, the date of March 10th, and so on, until the end of the year. But seriously, I'm putting in my two weeks notice for my current job. They keep screwing with me and my hours, so I have to find something more stable. I won't do 4pm to 1am shifts. They just keep pushing me closer to over night work.

[U]Hobby Time:[/U] Now that both of my two ant colonies have stopped hibernating and started laying eggs, the first spring batch of my large queen has started hatching. These are my first new baby ants since fall. During the winter my worker ants have been lazy with feeding their queen and she resorted to eating her own eggs instead out of desperation. You see, once a queen starts laying eggs she relies entirely on the workers to be fed, all she does is sit all day being groomed, pooping out eggs, and getting mouth-to-mouth fed. But anyways, I ordered a professional terrarium for them and it should arrive within the week. Right now I have them inside a test tube setup, which currently is in a dangerous situation because a lot of mold has started growing around their garbage pile. Ants are cool. If you stare at them long enough you begin to see them as animals rather than simpleminded insects, and just to be fair ants are the smartest and most social insect anyways. They literally can be happy or sad and you can tell when they're happy or sad. [editline]8th March 2014[/editline] Oh. and my other smaller ant queen layed like 50 eggs in two weeks. So that's gonna be pretty hectic pretty soon.
