Warm spring nights are nice. The bugs that come with them are not.
I dont want winter to go. It's so cozy.
Winter can fuck right off if you ask me. Miserable season.
Being raised in alaska might have given me a slight bias for winter.
Spring and Early-Mid Autumn are the best seasons. Everything looks prettier than ever. Though I do love seeing all the plants not being dead in the summer and all the snow (when it actually COMES HERE) in the winter, Spring and Autumn are just, in my opinion, the best.
Being raised in alaska might have given me a slight bias for winter.
Let me guess too, you down own a car and you don't have to pay for winter electricity bills either, right?
Being raised in alaska might have given me a slight bias for winter.
I'm not alaskan, but living here has made me used to the snow and cold as well. Even snowstorms.
Let me guess too, you down own a car and you don't have to pay for winter electricity bills either, right?
You don't even need to own a car or pay bills to hate winter. If you ever have to go outside at all, winter can be a real bitch.
go outside
Well lookee here mister, that right there is where you're wrong
It's extremely rare, often it's confused with lifestyle choices and poor health and fitness. DSPD is the kind of thing which will make you always wake up in, say, the following evening even if you went to bed at 10pm the previous night dead tired. It's a shift in circadian rhythm rather than insomnia. Also it's often a self-diagnosis by nerds who use their computer too much.
Hey cool story, see ya there.
Hey cool story, see ya there.
What
Wrong thread?
Hey cool story, see ya there.
This is so out of context and confusing. Man after my own heart.
I need a new avatar, anyone have any ideas?
idk where else to ask, but what do you do when one of your best friends gets super emotional, to the point where she says everything would just be better if she killed herself, and you spend an hour trying to convince her that it wouldn't solve anything, ending with her suddenly going offline and you can't reach her phone? I'm scared and I really don't know what to do. I called her mom and asked her to check on her. Seemed like the best thing I could do, but I'm freaking out. This is so uncomfortable...

Depression is bad business, but reassurance and patience is all a friend can offer to help it, I think.
Well that has to do with the famous Mendel experiment, which demonstrates how a gene can be passed from parent to offspring. For instance, this table demonstrates how a table was created by crossing the big table gene 'T' with the little table gene 't'. The resulting table, as shown in the table, can either big a big table 'T' or a little table 't' and still carry big table or little table genes. This big table gene is what we call "dominant", and the the little table gene is what we call "submissive". Following from that, it is clear to us why someone may still have gay genetics and not display them. Obviously, given your "submissiveness", your gay genes must be "submissive", and therefor, not fully expressed. This is also why you still like both men and women. Something that a bro on the street referred to as being "sometimes gay". Or as we high-minded academics call "bisexual".
so am I getting stripes or not nerdlinger

Looking out the window to see the sky glowing orange because of some random fog made me panic just slightly for no real reason :v:
Looking out the window to see the sky glowing orange because of some random fog made me panic just slightly for no real reason :v:
I do that when the sky is pink/purple. Makes me flip my shit 'cause it looks wrong.
Let me guess too, you down own a car and you don't have to pay for winter electricity bills either, right?
Those things won't make me hate winter. You have to deal with it either way.
Those things won't make me hate winter. You have to deal with it either way.
Heh, when you have to pay double for electricity, double for gas, double for maintenance over everything. Then you might change your mind.
Heh, when you have to pay double for electricity, double for gas, double for maintenance over everything. Then you might change your mind.
Nope
Nope
We'll see about that. That and unless you still live in alaska, chances are you won't experience the dullness of 5-6 months winters. Unless you do winter sports, winter is the worst out of all season. Snow isn't "Oh so beautiful." it's brown, comes with it, cars lasting WAY less time than anywhere else, electricity bills goes twice their amounts, sometimes three times in jan/feb. Oh the joy of shoveling 9-12feet of snow during the winter. I'm sorry, I don't take people wishing for snow or big winters seriously, like not at all. It's not fun. Not forgetting the before and after, where it's just as dull as it can get.

There's pros and cons to winter
To be fair tho AC is not a necessity, there's no tornadoes or hurricanes that are ever gonna hit us, there's no crazy ass bugs. There's pros and cons to winter
The bonus is that no bugs are going to kill you. AC is debatable, not a necessity but useful for July(More so if you want to cuddle.), tornadoes and hurricanes gladly, are out of the way. But flood happens. Not talking about that though, winter is just dull as fuck.
