So, going to my father's burial-but-not-really-burial-but-I-don't-know-what-to-call-it-otherwise (ceremony?) this weekend, and I'll be carrying the coffin with my brother and four of our uncles, and I don't feel particularly sad about it, I just kinda feel it's the last thing I can do to show some respect for him... In other news, I re-did my avatar in vector graphics today (so it's scale-able without pixelating) and changed it a little bit, which is nice I suppose, and then I've managed to get myself stuck in a mental cycle that will no doubt culminate in me completely re-writing my Minecraft server's thread OP because I've convinced myself that I'm dissatisfied with it, which will last a month or so before I do it again. Rate whatever, I won't interpret it either way.

If they attack you its because they feel threatened by you. If they're just walking along your desk they won't bother you. I HAVE ARACHNOPHOBIA AND AM SCARED OF SPIDERS. This is why I don't like them, you see. My mind doesn't rationalize that a spider is 9/10 not going to harm me because it goes straight to OH MY GOD IT'S A SPIDER SCARY SCARY.

I've never had problems with insects in the house like bees and ants and shit. These spiders are basically squatting and being terrifying while doing nothing to make up for it. if I had these problems then I would begrudgingly co-exist with them. But I don't.
