I should probably post the ipconfig right?
If you want, you could. Really won't do us a whole lot of good honestly as it depends on your home network if there's nothing obviously wrong, like having a "169.254.xxx.xxx" address. But the settings need to be similar to your parent's PC if they are on the same network (aside from the last octet of the IP address course). Run ipconfig on their computer and compare the settings. [editline]1st April 2014[/editline] Also run a malware scan. I've had malware block pretty much the entire internet before.
Man its a wonderful day out and my first day off from school and work in the past week and a half... ... and I get to spend it working on projects alllllll day :v: and I'll likely be spending the next two weeks straight doing school work and work-work wooooo really kind of just in a "get er done" mood and want to crack at it but so ready for a real day off now
I'm afraid I'm probably going to graduate university a semester behind. A prereq I need to take isn't until next spring (no summer or fall class), but the class I need to take after that is next fall, and isn't offered next spring. Fuck me.

Just gonna download a free version of ESET antivirus and scan.
I'm starting to get annoyed at my roommate for cutting class all the god damn time. Every time i come back now he's skipped class and is usually sleeping or playing league of legends. He keeps telling me that his professor just let them out early or it was cancelled. I doubt he gets let out of class an hour early almost every lecture. Such is life as college roommates. Whatever though at least when i withdraw from university i'll be doing it with a 3.0 gpa while he'll be getting kicked out with a gpa lower than 2.0 . At least i could come back.

Fortunately, I've been getting my homework done and reading the book/lecture notes so its not all for naught so I'm keeping my grades up above a 3.1 GPA.

Ahhh the freshman/sophmore years of college I'm so glad I don't interact with students from that education bracket anymore in my senior year. I still remember every day on my way to classes I'd see an entire group of people just crowded around tables in the lobby all day playing games on their alienware laptops all day long. On the off chance I had one of those students in my classes, they almost always were "holy shit how did you even graduate high school" bad. Like the guy who did a presentation on "game design" in my design survey class. Supposed to be a 30 minute presentation, was only about 12 minutes long. The powerpoint would have been bad if you were in middle school - yellow font over a WoW screenshot as the background image for ALL the slides. Embarrasingly elementary appraoch to the subject. He'd be missing class all the time doing (guess what). One such students in one of my design classes was making a logo for some project I can't remember, and pretty much everything he had was embarassingly bad, except one. Everyone critiqued his work as that single good one as the strongest one even though he kept going back and trying to change the first few ones. Turns out its because he stole that logo from a restaurant I passed on the way to work one day. College gets so much better when you are surrounded by people who aren't clearly going to be dropping out due to them still thinking they are in middle school except without their parents breathing down their necks.
Why are you leaving, out of curiosity?
I've been screwed since i started uni in terms of math. I'm a sophomor and i have been locked out of taking any classes at all related to my major due solely to math pre reqs. I'm locked out of other core classes as well because of it and have been stuck taking and retaking low level math courses and doubling up on general education classes since the beginning of fall just to meet minimal credits. Best case scenario right now is that if i stay in uni, i'll have my Bachelors in 4 more years. That's a 7 year bachelor degree at a high price uni. It's financially irresponsible. I'll be seeking education elsewhere, i can get the exact same degree at a tech school for much less. So after a few months of getting things together, between saving money up and just accomplishing a few other goals, i'll return to some form of education. [editline]1st April 2014[/editline] I'm really only annoyed at my roommate because that means i have to deal with him sleeping and me having to quiet at noon when he should be in class. He's perfectly able to go he's just incredibly lazy and ditches all the time.
It seems that whenever my girlfriend isn't around, I start to kinda...lose control, y'know? Like, not one of those people who constantly requires their partner for sanity, but it hurt after not having her for a week for her to gotta stay home :c

Anyway, I'm feeling similar, I want to leave mine for pretty much the same reason. Best of luck.
I have the math i need to know in order to actually do what i need to do within my degree, but the formalities in place need to to pass various math classes as a whole. I'm terrible at math, always was, but i could do what i need to do for things like programming.
So today was the day I decided I was going to get Goat Simulator No? Okay.
Okay, Goat Simulator is amazingly fun, although a little disappointing that I've basically done 80-90% of what there is to do in it already. Got my first foil card though! In other news, does anyone know who hid all the danish male homo/bisexuals from me? :c
but steamworkshop doe
But... It only has like ~17 entries and most of them are shit?
...dangers like people who swam in the water than ate you like a shark if you got to close.
What the hell am I doing in your dreams? Horrible joke.
goat sim was an excuse to make any old shit and get it to sell because 'lel randumb gameplay n spastic physics so funni xDDDD'
I dunno about you, but the game looks quite interesting for most of us. And sometimes you just gotta let it go.
goat sim was an excuse to make any old shit and get it to sell because 'lel randumb gameplay n spastic physics so funni xDDDD'
I thought it was a video of a fake game that people wanted to be real, so they made it real. Found an article on it: http://www.complex.com/video-games/2014/02/goat-simulator-from-viral-joke-steam-video
But it was never meant to be taken as a serious game in development, just a test of a new game engine being worked on by the studio. ... My how the tide of internet opinion can change real world plan! Swedish indie game developer is has decided to produce a full on game, that's already set to head to Steam.

goat sim was an excuse to make any old shit and get it to sell because 'lel randumb gameplay n spastic physics so funni xDDDD'
Doesn't matter if it's fun?
goat sim was an excuse to make any old shit and get it to sell because 'lel randumb gameplay n spastic physics so funni xDDDD'
I thought they made it for shits and giggles as an engine demo, it was well received and then they decided to sell it
I thought they made it for shits and giggles as an engine demo, it was well received and then they decided to sell it
Why not then just release it for shits and giggles and work on something serious using the engine?
Why not then just release it for shits and giggles and work on something serious using the engine?
I'd rather make money for something silly like that. Money helps fund projects.
Doesn't matter if it's fun?
I'm allergic to that stuff.
I'm allergic to that stuff.
Then stop playing games that are competitive :P.
Then stop playing games that are competitive :P.
Dota 2 isn't competitive when you can't play for shit :v:
Dota 2 isn't competitive when you can't play for shit :v:
Maybe, but when you get past 100 matches, shit is gone serious. Also GNiGHT folks.
