I'm really thinking about moving to Washington as soon as I can afford it and am able to drive. I'd love to get as far away from the South as I possibly can.

If I'm being honest, getting out of America altogether would be ideal for me. Most of my friends reside in the UK/Australia, so it'd be keen to actually visit them. It's gonna take a while to do that, but it's on my bucket list.

Washington is my second choice for a state to move to. I have something lined up for California already though. I'd be sharing a master bedroom with my BFFWB/etc. and paying a total of $1300 rent between us with two roommates paying $850 each. Yeah, that means that those roommates would be paying more overall, but between my friend (he should just be my boyfriend) and I, we do a lot of tidying/cleaning/cooking/stocking up of kitchen and so forth. Also, we provide entertainment and alcohol. Planning parties is fun.
