Scoob, you're at an unfortunate mismatch with folks in here, and we just aren't the kind of people who share your interest in topics. Like. Person A walks into the Dungeons and Dragons group and is like "hey want to talk about makeup" and then the group at all "no we're talking about dragons and nerd stuff". The person is like "this makeup I got was really great, I love it so much" and the people are all "dude we don't care about makeup, please leave if you're not wanting to talk about dungeon trolls". Person gets angry "I was just talking about makeup in case someone wanted to talk about makeup, you're just angry because you're all ugly nerds who don't wear makeup" and the group is like "man makeup is DUMB please go talk to other people about it, not us". "I used to talk about makeup all the time in this room!!" "Well now we're killing goblins so please leave!!" Like, your conversation isn't any more or less intellectual or deserving than the conversation that usually occurs here, but the fact of it just now is that not so many people want to talk about the stuff you want to talk about. It's a shame that you're essentially excluded from here because of your taste in conversation, but that's the way of it I'm afraid. You'll want to post about it still, because that's your right. I'd like to say "don't be surprised when people tear you a new one", but that's not fair because it's not fair that people would treat you so viciously for just wanting to talk about something else. In an ideal environment, people would ignore others who talk about things they don't care about, but the fact of it is that people also enjoy taking people down and being funny. I like doing that too. But that's just what happens to people who talk about that kind of stuff here. It's a bit cliquey, but don't hate us for that because you would be cliquey too if you were in a group of people who shared your humor and interests. I don't know where this is going at this point I'm just talking and hoping for a revelation lmao.

While I understand why they do it, it's not right (I'm guilty of this crap myself), but at the same time, you need to work out your own tendency to provoke people. Leaving for a while would definitely be beneficial. You could actually work on bettering yourself while people begin to forget about the old you, and you can come back a changed man! You can be all like "Hi, I'm Roflburger and I used to weigh 400 pounds, but through hard work and dedication, I managed to slim down and now I'm beautiful!"
