I wanna live somewhere warm

Honestly, I'm grateful enough to live in a country where I don't get shot at or enslaved by the local militia, extorted for cash by the police or local mob, choke on heavy pollution every day, be forced to work 12 hours a day at a sweatshop for paltry wages or whatever manner of horrible things that could happen. As long as you don't live in a truly horrifying position, you are in a position to make an improvement on your life by putting in effort and that's all that really matters.

I'm happy to live in a country with such a massive circle dedicated to film.

I'm in a way better position than a lot of people, I know that. It's still something I'm not entirely happy with at all, and I'm trying as much as I can to improve it.

Everyone who lives here owes themselves to do some kind of great american road trip sometime in their lives to truly see and experience the mind bogglingly different lands/cultures that exist in a single nation. West coast is totally different from east coast, there are sprawling canyon deserts, mountain ranges and ski towns that go into the horizon, endless fields of wheat (lol), etc. Did you know that fireflys (apparently) don't exist in the west coast of the US, because those bugs just never crossed the cascade/rocky mountain region as they evolved? It just sucks there is so much bullshit with neo-conservatism, bible worship to a fanatical degree, terribly inefficient government, awful healthcare, and such a high degree of worship of the "american dream" that we are expected to sell our first born child for the good corporate america and capitalism because thats just the way it is. I mean don't get me wrong I like capitalism. Its certainly the most successful and best economic ideology we've come up with as a species so far. Its just not the end all be all, it has its shortcomings, and it doesn't work at all for public services. But yet we worship capitalism as a concept here as if its a god. Sure people love capitalism all over the world, but its different in america. You are supposed to think that paying tens of thousands for minor surgery (largely due to bloated wages/insurance/etc) is right, that paying out the ass for college education is a given, etc. If you get screwed over from your internet provider (which is as much a utility as electricity is in this day and age) who hasn't upgraded lines in 30 years despite seeing historic profits, its because they "rightfully won" and that you should somehow be "competition" for this if you don't like the way that is.

I did the whole America experience when I lived there and frequent visits after moving to the UK. Good times.
