Detention at my highschool was taken out of your lunch time. It was the Responsible Thinking Centre (RTC) and you basically had to fill out a form describing what you did wrong, why it was wrong and how you should do better. It was on a two strike system. So the first time you were being disruptive you got asked 'the questions' (inquisition $#!7 right there) "What are you doing?" "What should you be doing?" "What will you choose to do if you continue doing it?" (because the whole idea is that you choose to go to the RTC on account of if you didn't misbehave you wouldn't have had to go, it was your own actions that got you there). Then the second time you had to go to the RTC.
Because I am a goody-two-shoes I got asked the questions once in four years and never got sent.

We had Breaktime, Lunchtime and After School detention which are all straight to the point, then we had isolation which I'm pretty sure was for kids who were total rebels but not shitty enough to get suspended and basically kep tthem out of lessons for punishment on their own the whole day, kinda like imprisonment.
Suspension was temporarily being barred from school, and the (very) rare expelling was permanent removal from school, which I know happen only to one person I knew, who ended up relocated to another school.

Also, I only ever got detentions because I never went to Phys Ed. I disliked the coaches immensely and I wanted to focus on my studies, but they kept trying to drag me from 3 to 6pm practice and giving me detentions and even sending letters home to my parents. I think it backfired on them because I used detention to study :v:

I do recall a time I was a witness to someone getting expelled from school at the office. I can't recall why he was getting expelled but once he was told about this, he argued and walked right out the door.

I got an afterschool detention for not wearing the correct socks to my sports class. I wore white ones and they only allowed 'certain' white ones with a pattern that you can only get at the school shop for $30 a pair.
Glad I didn't go because of how ridiculous it was.

TLDR on that thread:
Forever and ever everyone scoffed at 'lua viruses', being that they were not true viruses. But someone actually figured out how to do it. Client->Server->Clients it spreads.
An old exploit abusing sv_allowupload (used by Source for sending spray images) to acquire the server.cfg file is used to find the rcon password (remote console), if the server owner put the rcon in that file (90% of the time).
The rcon is used with some black magic and a special .dll module (C++ code) to make the server accept that same .dll file which then works more magic into making clients download it from the server.
It doesn't do anything truly malicious; it seems to have been created to raise awareness of the risk so that it will be patched.
