I had no clue what time it was, or where I was. I had dreamt that I was sleeping at my girlfriend's place. I looked out the window and the light was blinding (since it angled into my room). I wandered out into the house, and the TV was on and an SNL skit was on the PC...but my mum and dad weren't home. My dog Francis was gone, and Dudley was out wandering the deck. I was fucking mortified.

Seriously, though. Water is one of the bestest drinks, but it depends on where you live. I get mine from a well, which is great, but when I lived in the city, the water tasted pretty polluted and dirty, so I could barely keep it down.

Our city water is well-purified and tastes great to the point that we even bottle it and hand it out at local events where everyone prefers it over regular bottled water, but well water just tastes unpleasantly of metal. I don't really need all that much in life, but what I want right now is a petite guy or girl who I can hang out with, cuddle, kiss, fuck, whatever. I'm all lonely n shit, and being lonely sucks.

Essay due tomorrow for a class I don't care about, on a subject I no longer want to pursue. Like, I took a course in Higher Psychology at the start of the academic year but since then I've moved on. I'm still in it but only out of obligation at this point. Psychology was kinda interesting but my ideas and interests have moved on since I started. Does anybody else ever feel like they spend so much time dreaming of where they want to be that they forget where they are in life right now and what they're doing? If my life was a book, that would be the title of the chapter I'm currently living.

22 and still don't know what I want to do. My interests change daily. Call it an adhd tax or whatever, but I've wasted so much money and time on stuff I've been fascinated with for a day or two then forgotten about. I can choose any path in life I want since I'm at square 0 but the biggest problem is time doesn't last forever.

I don't know the meaning of difficulty because I've never been able to really force myself to do anything. If anything in the world is difficult, it's doing things you don't want to do. It's that conflict causing the stress which is what I think the word "difficult" refers to. Nothing is difficult if you want to do it, in my mind. The only reason I said I "don't care" about this report is because I only recently got an idea about what 'not caring' really is. I'm still figuring out what it means to be truly interested in something too. I don't know how normal that is for people in my age range, but it feels weird to think that I never knew what these words really meant. I got into a Biology course I didn't like because I didn't know what 'interesting' meant. Another thing I've thought recently is that my idea of what words like "difficult" actually mean is fucked. Like suddenly I start to question how my mind conceptualised the meaning of words. Words are made to refer to specific things, and to understand what feeling is being referred with a word to is down to context*.And if I messed up that stage, then I wouldn't be able to recognise boredom or fear in the same way others do. Having messed up ideas about what words mean makes everything after that difficult I guess. I don't really understand boredom, so I get bored without realising it, and then subsequently I suffer the stress build-up that comes of boredom. Like someone who can't feel heat getting burned while leaning on a hot stove. My confusion with my own feelings is probably just down to poor definitions of feelings in the first place. That's what confuses me, rather than being out of touch with myself. It's weird to think about. I prefer thinking about things rather than writing about data and what it means. To hell with the report. The class was fun, but I've extracted all the fun out of it that I can. There's nothing else I want that that class can give me. I'm going to be self indulgent on the internet now, and then guiltily apologise to my teacher for being so disinterested. *Like, if getting an understanding of the meaning of something is like anything, it's like a chisel breaking away pieces of rock from a block until you know what sculpture is being made. You get a clearer and clearer idea as it starts to take form, but along the way you make all sorts of different guesses that aren't quite right or are wrong entirely. Context is just the angle the chisel it's attacking the block at. A different context means a different part is revealed, and you're closer to knowing what the sculpture is, or what the word means. More different contexts means better definition and better understanding. I'm talking a bunch. I am riled up by how incompetent I am at writing reports.

So while yes, it is bad, it's not a life sentence. One day you'll be whole again, and speedcore will be in the past. Get that filth out of your system now and join the rest of us when you're done :) As long as you don't kill yourself it's all okay.
