Gay Chat V11 - Were you expecting something funny?

Usually I try to take out most of my anger in video games, too. I'm just a very reactive, physically stressed person.
I try to keep myself from having outbursts, but sometimes I just can't stop myself. I have problems...
The only time I've been truly angry, I knocked the person who was making me angry, out.
Don't really get physical, just sit down and not be talkative.
I've been here since April '06, although I quickly abandoned my original account for some reason; I really can't remember at this point. I remember the Gay subforum and all of the strange, childish things I posted there, and the people who for a short time ended up being the best of online friends. It's interesting to think how far I matured beyond that scared kid.
One thing I wish younger me knew was that it was eventually going to happen - that I'd find someone and wouldn't be lonely anymore. A lot of those old posts by me were cries for attention because I didn't have anyone to talk to about this kind of stuff.
Although I don't think me from way back then could've imagined I'd be living with someone female or calling myself bi. My partner and I both met at a LGBT Youth group in our hometown, both identifying as gay. We just ended up falling madly in love with each other and we've been together for over 2 years now. The only problem we have with it is people telling us that bisexuality doesn't exist or isn't legitimate. We've both gotten the "TRAITOR!" treatment from other people. We're still both attracted to both genders, but each other more and above all.
In any case I'm glad this place was around for those times, even if some of the stuff I posted makes me cringe.
Sometimes, when I'm really mad, I break stuff :c
i dont think ive been mad in years
I often worry that I'll turn into the cunt apocalypse like my mom.
your own fault then
I know this. :U
If I wasn't a crazy dumbass I wouldn't be having this problem.
Man, this talk about temper. I have a problem controlling mine around friends/loved ones, which is why I normally have a hard time keeping people close to me. With this, I also have a condition that causes me pain on a regular basis, which makes me incredibly solitary and never chatty, making me lose the interest of friends.
I'm just grumpy 24/7 it seems, at least till I can convince my pain specialist to trust me with medications. Oh well.
Oh, and speaking of older things on this board, I recently had to change my name because I could not handle seeing "le" in it. It must have been the funniest thing ever for me in 08...
I have a really nasty temper sometimes, and I enjoy doing everything from throwing things to punching things to yelling to crying. I wish I was calm and collected, but I'm just angry and impulsive.
And I remember how I was when I first joined in '08, I was so uptight and urgh... I ended up permabanning myself because I had a snit-fit over a thread and then I couldn't take it and crawled back a couple months later... and that's how I came to be. I don't know what I'd do without Facepunch... honestly, it was here I actually found out I was gay and it was here I came out to people for the first time... and it was here I met my loving boyfriend. Oh Facepunch, you may be a dump, but you're home for me.
I have a level-headed attitude towards things, but I can get terrible anxiety issues.
Sorry guys, but stress doesn't actually "build up." There's no such thing as "venting" or "letting off steam." Stress isn't like a hydraulic system and is more complicated than Freud would have you believe.
I just have really bad anxiety problems.

Like my heat </3
And your laptop.
Back in 07, I was the victim of bullying, so I was used to having shitty days.
There was this one guy who I didn't know - I wasn't even in the same class as him - and one day, he decides to be an asshole and block the door to the hallway on our way to class for a bunch of people, including me. The entire class was 10 minutes late because of him, and when he finally decided to open the door, my first instinct was to punch him in the shoulder. Mistake on my part.
Little did I know, he had some 'anger issues', to say the least. Knocked me to my knees, headlocked me beat my face a couple of times, and asked me if "I was done?". When I told him yes, he threw me on the ground, and kicked my head twice, successfully knocking me out. This was in front of the classroom, where everyone could see it. No one stepped in, and no one tried to do anything to stop him. When he stepped away, a couple of my back then friends rushed me off to the principal's office, alongside the dude who beat me up. I didn't deny that I hit him first, and therefore the principal didn't do anything about it.
Since then, I've kept my anger to myself, and at really bad times taken the anger out on myself through self-harm. Though, my past 2½ years with psychiatric help has definitely helped me control it a lot, and now it rarely happens. The experience has also changed me for the better. I always do my best to treat everyone with respect, and give everyone a chance. We gotta take care of each other after all. [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img]
Eeeeeeeyup one of my components is failing in my computer.
I have literally no clue which besides that it's not the video card.
Windows just tells me 'Hardware Error' which is completely fucking useless. And I don't have the money to replace any single item, let alone swap everything out to find the cause.
Guess I'm living with random BSOD's.
You don't by chance an Nvidia card and recently updated with beta drivers?
That was bsoding me recently.

So you mean to say, we all are just constantly stressed all the time? I don't know about you, but if I get stressed out, I have ways to relax myself for a good while. I rarely do get worked up.
But you can believe in it how ever you feel like. I know how to make myself feel relaxed.
I was bosing recently too. It looks to have been a fan on my computer completely choked with dust.

I know that it's NOT the vidya card :v
I have an HIS IceQ HD6870. It's literally the only piece of hardware that I know works. It's part of why I haven't upgraded the video card yet (even if I had the money). This thing has lasted me over a year now and is stable as hell. And runs only at like 45C, ALWAYS. I played Bioshock Infinite maxed out for 12 hours straight when it came out and this little bugger only got up to like 61C or something. It's incredibly cool.
honestly I prefer my graphics cards to be a little bit on the hotter end of the spectrum because they keep my otherwise rather uninsulated room warm in the winter

Could try a system restore. Or hunt for a virus. Or clean your computer out and replace the therma-paste on the CPU.
Not much info to go on really.

That's the problem. I can't give any info because I don't know myself.
And it's not software, it's a hardware issue. No virus. The computer is still maybe not even a month old.

You can easily get a virus on a new computer. Even an update could have gone wrong and is causing a failure.
If possible, test each part out on another computer. Or another's part in your computer.
Is it a custom built PC? You could have just bought a bad part, and if you can, try to return whatever you recently bought.

usually if a computer randomly bluescreens it's either an aforementioned virus (malwarebytes), driver issues (driver sweeper + reinstall) or just bad RAM.
Well he hasn't given much info. Says it's only a month old and yet it has a year old card in it.
More info would be better. But if not, return what can be returned and try the basics of cleaning it. Virus scans to actually dusting the shit out of it.
I'm thinking it may be the ram speed at 2133mhz, but they're meant to go at that speed. I'm going to try putting them back at 1600mhz next time I BSoD and see if that solves anything.
And yes it's a year old GPU, I pulled it out of my other system (which is how I know it works fine).
Catscratch have you tried turning it off and on again?
Try wrapping it in a blanket and give it some hot choco, maybe it has caught a cold.
I haven't cleaned my PC out in like a year.
I think it's taking it's toll slowly but surely so I should probably get round to that before it gets bored of dust and just decides to catch fire or something.
Ole' tower is getting old, needs an upgrade.
