At a Funeral today. If there's one thing I will say is that they never seem to get any easier to deal with. This time though, I ended up being a coffin bearer with the coffin up on my shoulders and lowering into the grave. Something I'm glad I did though.
I'm cleaning carpets because our dog decided it'd be a good idea to eat an entire fucking toblerone, then roll around in it, rubbing chocolate into the carpet, then throw up somewhere while I was out Yay, dogs
Doesn't chocolate kill dogs
So, I just went grocery shopping for tonight's dinner. Apparently my social anxiety has gotten so bad that I started shaking, and still am, and almost started crying at the counter. Shit sucks...
Doesn't chocolate kill dogs
That's what we're worried about, but she seems fine right now She's eaten half a box of ferrero rochers before, she eats anything if you leave her alone, she tried to eat a bottle of goddamn hand soap once [editline]8th May 2014[/editline] Funnily enough, she doesn't eat shoes Twice she's found a brand new pair still in the box, ripped the box to shreds, but didn't touch the shoes
I ate half a home-made pizza and I ate 4 protein bars last night. What have I done. [editline]7th May 2014[/editline] "A Shit Blizzard, that's what's coming Ricky"
Doesn't chocolate kill dogs
They're milk intolerant, hence the vomiting. If you cram several hersey bars into it then sure? Or maybe it has to do with the size of the dog fuck iunno

They can't eat chocolate because of theobromine.
Doesn't chocolate kill dogs
I guess how much it takes depends on the dog. For instance, I once had a dog that managed to eat almost a full five pound block of chocolate and was fine, aside from the massive pile of steaming, chocolate scented vomit next to the couch when we got home.

The LD50 of theobromine for dogs is 300 mg/kg. For regular chocolate, the theobromine content is 1450 mg/kg. An average adult lab is 33KG. You'd need ~6.8 kg of chocolate for a 50% chance that the lab would die. The thing is, there are much smaller dogs and you don't need that much chocolate to make them feel seriously sick.

That tumblr is awfully unfunny My anti-furry tumblr is much better ;)
So my boyfriend's mom bought us all tickets to see Paul McCartney this July, so alongside going to a local con and getting my tonsils removed the week after, this is going to be a rather eventful summer.
