I saw the last Harry Potter movie by myself because the theatre I went to on the midnight premier fucked up the screening. I also saw Jackass 3D by myself because my friend forgot his ID and I was not willing to not see that movie.

My mum and I are movie nuts, having a combined collection of about 6000 movies, as sad as it sounds, we are going to the movies at least once a week to see whatever new is on. At least I know I won't be alone when I go to the movies :v:

Just had an hour-and-a-half discussion with my dad about absolutely anything we could think of. Love having friendly conversations with that guy.

I prefer watching movies alone and often do go alone. The only time i go out with others to watch a movie in a theatre is either with this one specific guy because we both love to pick films apart on every level, or with friends who want to see the newest comedy movie like Haunted House 2. I get very absorbed in my movies, to the point where i once literally kicked my friend out of the theatre because he kept talking to me and started to talk to me intentionally to piss me off. Having others can break that immersion for me for most movies, for action movies it's no issue, likewise with comedy movies. There's nothing wrong with going to see movies by yourself, if you say watching movies by yourself is weird or anything, it's not different then watching tv by yourself or grabbing a bite to eat at a restaurant alone. I see plenty of people when i'm on the clock going to movies alone, they don't care if people think it's weird, they just want to watch a movie. Movies don't HAVE TO BE a social event.

I don't technically touch any alcohol at all. Unless it tastes like sugar.
