So it looks like Google's buying Twitch, one of the few things I bother using anymore. Feeling awfully pessimistic today.
The twitch player manages to somehow be worse than the YouTube one so this might actually be an improvement.
So I found out today that, according to my Nanna's solicitor, not only did she "hold all her grandchildren in high regard" and was immensely proud of them, she also left them equal shares in her life insurance pay out. Interestingly enough she always used to wrap any presents she sent in about fifty layers of paper and bubble wrap. This particular gift comes with her final piece of extensive wrapping: I have to be 22 to get it :v: I don't know how much it is and I wasn't expecting it so I am surprised but I think at this point hearing a total stranger said that she thought those things is worth a lot more to me. And to think I was upset that I wasn't upset. Even at the funeral. And now I am sobbing at my computer :v: [editline]18th May 2014[/editline] Fudge. Why do I have to get money. I don't want that. I want her back. Well that took a turn. I was so cavalier about her passing away until now. It was much better when I thought I didn't really know her and she didn't really know me but I guess she thought a lot more about me than I did her.
Aw sorry to hear :( My BF's mom has life insurance that will pay him about 250-500K or so (might just be 500K total split between him and his brother) when she dies. If she dies on the job, then its doubled. So she jokes about how when she's gonna kick the bucket that we have to make sure she does it while on a business trip :v: [editline]19th May 2014[/editline]
Subway is nice. Domino's is over priced. Papa Johns is ran by a bigot. Pizza Hut is good but damn these places are too flashy for just pizza. McDonalds is rubber. KFC is quack. Burger King doesn't exist. Wimpy is dead. Local place down the road, glorious.
Dominoes.... over priced? I dunno I think buying a 4 topping large for $10 is a pretty good deal. Or their medium hand tossed pan pizza with 2 toppings for $8 is as well (I get full just eating a third/half of that and its really yummy). Whats over priced is where I work. $17.50 for a large deluxe when its not on special. $14.50 for a large pepperioni. Both are thin crust pizzas, and they aren't anything amazing by any stretch of the imagination. The pepperoni costs only $1.50 to make in food cost. I legit feel bad anytime people order without doing a special or the coupons, it's such a huge waste of money. I.E. when I deliver a single medium deluxe (pepperoni, onion, mushroom, sausage, bell peppers - most of this is pre-frozen/diced McDonalds quality level) for $16.70 after delivery charge because the guy who ordered was too much of a dinkus to look up a coupon code.
You wanna see expensive pizza? Just take a trip to Eagleland!
You wanna see expensive pizza? Just take a trip to Eagleland!
I thought this was a transcript of real life
Back from Copenhagen. Went to visit my sister in her new apartment to hang out and watch movies. Her couch is literally 4 pallets put together with a mattress put ontop and a shitton of pillows, and it is possibly the best couch I have ever had the pleasure to sit in and sleep on. Also, her coffee table is two pallets ontop of each other, on wheels, with a glass plate ontop. And it actually looks really good, that's the best part! Guess her interior design/store manager education paid off.
Welcome back to wherever you live. :v:
subway domino's is trash and papa johns is better
Papa Johns is hands down the worst pizza i've ever had, not chain pizza, but pizza period. Slcies from a bowling alley that have been under a heating lamp for 6 hours tastes better than Papa Johns. They're expensive Pizza tastes like cardboard It's ran by a bigoted idiot working under the guise of obama car to slash worker hours who is in general an asshole. (seriously look into the guy, plenty of videos of this guy in public even back me up on this) They're significantly over rated as well. I don't see a single redeemable factor for papa johns.

And I never wish to have them any other way. I really don't see the appeal of Pizza Hut and similar.
Local pizza joints are better anyway, i rarely buy pizzas from chain stores. Why bother with a chain store when i can go to a local business, support them, get a real pizza, and even save money?
there aren't really any local pizza places around here that would be realistic for me to buy from - only two or three in town are all downtown
The only reason I eat dominos is because I get 50% off and even then I only do it if I have had no time for anything else and I am literally starving. Otherwise the local pizza place down the road is amazing. Pizzas have 50 times as much stuff, but considerably more expensive. [editline]19th May 2014[/editline] They're also infinitely more delicious.
Cottage Inn is p good (or pizza hutt for a cheaper option) IMO Don't know of any local pizzerias that deliver
I do like domino's pizza. I enjoy their crust very much.
Domino's charge a fair bit and the pizzas are very small. Pizza Hut is decent if I'm after an easy to order pizza, or Crust if I have an absurd amount of money to spend.
Speaking of pizza, I never see any Domino's Pizza ads at all on TV. It's all Pizza Nova and Pizza Pizza. I'v never had Domino's Pizza. Boston Pizza is over priced Pizza Hut (the last time I went there which was years ago) had a ton of oil spewing out of the pizza Pizza Nova is good Pizza Pizza is meh Everywhere else is probably better
Oh man got my keys for Wolfenstein and Doom 4. And New Vegas though I didn't order that so I dunno what is up there.
Domino's charge a fair bit and the pizzas are very small. Meanwhile however, Dominos is actually very cheap. I don't know what you mean about the 'fair bit'. Where i live, where pizza places are rampant, a small 12 inch pizza will run you about 9-10 bucks, 11 bucks with toppings. At dominos, i can get a 12 inch pizza for 8 dollars with two toppings. Dominoes is actually very cheap.

I quite like dominoes, they are really cheap if you pick up the pizza. Insanely expensive if you get them delivered. My favorite pizza place would have to be one near my house though. Quite expensive, but absolutely massive and taste amazing. also, my friend convinced me to buy three new BenQ RL2455 monitors. $13 same day delivery, not bad at all [t]https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/t31.0-8/10380182_10202174911154321_5675007490353496243_o.jpg[/t]
So I was thinking about buying a $200 3D printer. It might be a useful tool to have around if I need to make a tool or replace a part for something. https://store.makibox.com/#/product-detail?type=1&&option=31 Thoughts?

Clean your desk god damn.
I could never work with 3 screens. 2 is more than enough for me!
Clean your desk god damn.
I tried cleaning it once. It lasted 24 hours. So I don't even bother (Nor have room to actually clean it)
Those are terrible excuses.
I could never work with 3 screens. 2 is more than enough for me!
Why do I always feel like I'm the only person that only uses one monitor?
I have to use three screens at work, it's impossible to use anything less. At home I use three (now 4) just because I'm used to it and have heaps of chats and stuff open at the same time. And now I can play games using Nvidia surround, so bonus with that.
