I got more productive when I switched back to using 1 because there was less to distract me.

I'm trying to save up £400 for one of those fancy shamncy 144 hz gaming mlg pro 360 no scope headshot monitors.

I'm trying to completely tear out my house's back deck and replace it. Beyond refinishing at this point - bought this house for $37,000 at an auction. Same with the pool... gotta replace the pump, new surfacing, etc. I need a haircut too.

Dual monitors are great for productivity. Programs like Photoshop demand to be run in fullscreen, and when you have 2-3 monitors you can do that yet still have a bunch of other stuff up to quickly move between programs, files, etc. Loved it in school. That said too broke tier to get 2-3 monitors. Not to mention the idea of playing dual/tri monitor for gaming is awful to me - it always looks so bad IMO and yet requires 2-3X the GPU power.

I've loved playing games on 3 monitors, especially with monitors with great color reproduction and small bezels. I mean, sure, if you want to play on max settings with high resolution textures you're going to need a lot of GPU power, but everyday usage isn't a problem even if you're just using say... a Mac Mini or even connecting your monitors to a laptop.
