I find myself just wanting to play games. Usually open ended games, board games, computer games, whatever. Ones that don't have a specific story, but let you put the narrative in it. Like DayZ, KSP, Project Zomboid, Banished, Crusader Kings 2, Civilization III: Conquests or Civ V, Democracy 3, Eve: Online, even Minecraft. The list goes on, there is so much stuff. I wanna buy myself a good computer but that costs me a good portion of my savings and it always goes back to one thing:
Spend a thousand or more on a desktop PC... or go travelling?
And really the ultimate adventure is in the travelling part, but I have no one I want to go with (well I do but I doubt they would) and I am too nervous. So I cuddle up in bed most days and go where my imagination takes me.
Technically your imagination can take you to worlds far better than what you'll ever see in real life. But some of the things you can do and see on planet earth... I don't want to miss out on them.
At least I guess I have the choice. Some people never do.
Word of advice; travel. Anywhere you can go that you like, go. You'll experience new things, maybe meet up with a friend? And you'll have something to talk about for the next two months or more.
I really wish I could travel.

so far ive only been in nyc and found the food to be lacking

So you're judging American food by just visiting one city and some fast food chains? lmao.
I feel sorry for anyone who thinks fast food restaurants are actually good food, theirs are deprived souls

In n' Out is pretty bomb, not gonna lie.
In n' Out is pretty bomb, not gonna lie.
yeah but that's like upper fast food. In n' Out, Five Guys, those kind of places are the tits.
Smaller chains that are more regional tend to be pretty alright
In n' Out and the tales I've been told of it make California a tempting destination
So I think I figured out what sword I want, but it costs 30 bucks.
I don't have 30 bucks.
I have 7.

By the way, I own AE on PC now.
It's just fairly laggy on my computer.
I remember there's a chinese market near here
My mum likes cow tongue from there.
She eats them. Raw. In front of me. :(

$30 sword, lol. Sounds like quality.
Why do you need a cheap sword anyway, going on a rampage, defense?

'Cause it looks cool and I don't have money.
I met the cutest guy! Our musical tastes overlap, we're both graphic designers and cartoonists, we're both avid gamers and our senses of humor are really compatible.
We mainly talk on Skype currently, we're really warming up to each other.
He lives way elsewhere in Holland but here's hoping I can see him soon. I can't get him out of my mind ~

I just so happen to be listening to this!
How do you thing the political climate on the subject would change (if at all) if scientists discovered a way to let same-sex couples conceive biologically-related children?
I'd imagine there's be lots of arguments against it involving the word "Unnatural"
Wow outlet malls are the shit. Howcome I've never been to one before?
Got 4 American Eagle shirts and 2 pairs of smexy AE undies that are super OMGWTF comfortable for about $60 w/ tax. Not bad considering it would cost me $90-$100 at a normal AE store.
Tempted to post picz
AE is already pretty cheap, it's this nice middle ground between too cheap and too expensive.
I wish they had them over here.

Gib.
Though i must admit that coffee looks like it'd give a perky but spiced flavor, i'd gladly try that out but the color of the roast leads me to believe it'd be more spiced than anything.
How is it?

None of those serve American food. They serve fast food, pizza, and sandwiches, three things that have regional variants everywhere in the world.
i cant even believe people would be content with high fructose sugar its horrible
It's unlikely that you'd be able to tell the difference between HFCS and sugar when it's an ingredient of anything you've eaten so far.
so far ive only been in nyc and found the food to be lacking
NYC is a world class city where you can find any food that exists anywhere else in America or on the planet. If you can't find food in New York that's your own fault.
Go get a hot dog from a street vendor, find a southern food restaurant and get some cole slaw and fried chicken (KFC doesn't count), hell, head north a bit and get some lobster. Oh, look for a well-reviewed hawaiian place as well. There's tons of great American food and you're missing it all despite being in a city where you can try it all.
I have to agree with zeke, if you think american food is terrible while in new york, you're either limiting yourself to shoddy places due to budget or not looking hard enough.
Even then limiting yourself due to budget isn't a legitimate excuse as i've learned a long time ago that some of the best food you can get will be from lunch trucks where a whole meal and drink will cost you 5 bucks.
Saying american food is terrible is almost borderline objectively wrong due to how eclectic and vast american cuisine is. It's to the point where regional differences result in completely different palates. I don't think i've ever met anyone outside of eastern pa that can actually say they both tried and said they did not like scrapple.
I also know in the midwest brain sandwiches are common fare. But seriously the cuisine here is so diverse and so heavily inspired by various cultures that you really can not generalize american cuisine like you can with 'indian cuisine' or 'french cuisine'. Mostly because of how heavily based american cuisine is on many different cultures and over the years have evolved significantly.
I'm looking forward to trying food in America. I want to try Taco Bell, and this Wendys people say is good.

It'll vary but I remember going to Wendy's quite a lot as a kid. I don't eat much fast food anymore but it's still my favorite. Might be nostalgia though.

If it's there, sure. Plenty of food I want to try there, to see if it's different.
I like the fast food here, but we don't get many of the things you get there. That makes me wonder, is stuff that is ubiquitous here, like small family owned shops that sell fish and chips and burgers, something that is in America alot? Like over here there are fish and chip shops everywhere but it's not something I hear of in the US. Not necessarily fish and chips, just those small take out shops that are on like every corner here.
If you want southern, Cracker Barrel's amazing for breakfast, and Dixie Cafe is good for lunch/dinner.
