Apparently removing the ethernet cable disables the Local Area Connection adaptor and reconnecting it doesn't re-enable it. I learned something today. Don't pull out the ethernet cable :v:

What's a good site for reviewing math stuff? I'll need to take a placement exam for university that goes over precalc, I took a sample test and I forgot an uncomfortably large amount of it. Don't really want to go into first year engineering having forgotten everything from high school.

one of the things i'm looking forward to when i move out is getting better internet. I'm heavily dissatisfied with comcast and have been pressing my parents to move away from them or even upping the service. However they refuse to budge because we get our cable and phone from them as well so we get additional deals. Even though those 'additional deals' only offer us pretty much 5 dollars in savings over dropping comcast as an ISP and getting something even like Fios. [IMG]http://www.speedtest.net/result/3546534047.png[/IMG] It only looks decent because i ran this test at 3 am when NO ONE ELSE IN MY HOUSE IS USING IT. During the day even if im still the only one using it you can expect about 5.50 Mb/s down.
