today was somewhat productive, I suppose. I went out and bought a bunch of solo sheet music. Fun stuff. Debussy, Bach's cello suites (but for viola), and a couple of other assorted odds and ends. been playing maybe since like 10 am, it's now 5P.. oops

Oh man I stayed up later last night to watch the Nintendo thing for E3. They rolled out some cool ass shit. I've played one Zelda game on my Game Boy but they managed to even make me excited for this open world game they announced. And that ink shooting one looks cool as hell.

Honestly from what you have told us about this friend of your BF, he really doesn't seem to be a good person, or is acting wildly out of character. Even being your BF's best friend and claiming to care about monogamy it seems like he is just trying to drive a wedge in between you two. Monogamy, atleast for me, goes both ways. I value the one on one closed relationships of other people and would never try to split a couple up so I could swoop in and steal someones heart because I know that if it ever happened to me it would suck, balls. Im sorry to have to say this dude but you need to find your balls and tell both of them that this behavior is unacceptable. It could drive your BF further away, but you need to stick up for yourself and take into account YOUR feelings. If he really cares about the relationship you guys have and if he WANTS it to work out he would tell his friend to stop making advances. If this "friend" doesn't listen than what kind of friend is he? Really. And if your BF is making the choice of being around someone that he knows is trying to split you guys up, he really isn't choosing the relationship with you, is he? The guy was literally just acting on impulse since he's had a crush on my BF or over a year, recently became single, and wasn't really thinking about things. He was super upset and embarrassed that he was doing what he was doing so he's backing off. I'm just glad he wasn't really planning on seriously homewrecking or anything, it really seemed out of character for him to be like that if that is what he was actually planning. I considered the fact that he could have just been acting on impulses without checking boundaries but I didn't want to jump to that conclusion in case there was any kind of plot to steal my BF. He's the type of guy who tells people they are being stupid to their face if they are being dumb so him being forward to my BF without thinking about boundaries is the kind of thing he'd do as an honest fuck up (but its a bad fuck up don't get me wrong). The reason why my BF didn't tell me was that we were already going through a lot of stress/grief and didn't want to upset me, on top of the fact that he didn't want to cause a kind of fight between his best friend and boyfriend.
