Gay Chat V11 - Were you expecting something funny? - General

After being sent home from work due to stress friday I got called into a meeting and got told that I've been working too hard, turns out that of the 90 or so tickets into our 5 man department in the past week I did half, so today I just sat at my desk doing nothing, my manager took my phone, and I'm just generally being treated like a depressed child now, I don't think I'll be able to find a happy middle here, and I just want to leave

i have an interview on the 19th i'm excited, i might actually start making money!

Like read a book or something. If they are just paying you to turn up now because you've disgraced the rest of the department then so be it.

If you're being scolded for doing your job too well you're working for a total idiot.

Hell my brother has done everything bad you could do to someone, to me my whole life and still I worry when he gets kicked out knowing he will be on the street.

IMO it's really bad parenting when you resort to kicking your son/daughter out of your house unless its for a REALLY good reason.

I just got back from [url=http://www.bonnaroo.com]Bonnaroo[/url] and it was a blast. I got to see so many fantastic artists and just had a great time in general. Watched How To Train Your Dragon 2. If you've not watched all the trailers, don't. They spoil like crazy. But they also make the film look awful. The first movie's trailers did this too, so I missed out on it for a long time. HTTYD 2 managed to pull it off again; long movie, good pacing (which makes it feel even longer, like some of the best Adventure Time episodes do). Heartfelt like the first. The first movie is of course better, but HTTYD 2 by no means suffers of sequelitis. I'm so thrilled to have just watched it. go do it

I got bored so I decided to try drawing with my tablet again, something I've never been able to do as well as with pencil/paper. However, this time using Paint Tool Sai, instead of the Photoshop, since I hear good things about it. Holy crap it's much much nicer for drawing in. The brush doesn't lag, and I can get much smoother, less wobbly lines with it. I wish I tried it a while ago, I wouldn't have just gave up with digital drawing. Have a Dark Angel. I finished an online aptitude test thing. Logic tests are dumb. I go cross-eyed staring at squares and triangles and circles all jumbled together. And the way they time it and weight the marks means if I get to a hard one I just guess and I do better than if I had tried to figure it out. I dunno. I don't think I should be optimistic about getting something that involves taking an online test before they even bother with your actual application. For some reason I am though. I want to get these job opportunities but they scare the hell out of me. I feel like I'll show up and they'll ask me to do something and I'll have no clue what it is. Or worse, they'll ask me to do something and I won't realise they have because I didn't understand half the techno mumbo jumbo that came out of their mouths.

First night of work. Man, it feels bad moving patients from bed to bed. There's really no painless way to do it.
