Hi guys I've been doing a good job at not being shot so far. I've informed my comrades that I am indeed homosexual and they were all very supportive, so I feel pretty comfortable where I am.

My comfort zone seems to be totally unoffensive insincerity. Keeping back anything about myself that might make me seem the least bit unique or interesting, unless it's insincere. I don't mind letting loose as long as I'm insincere about it. Never really opening up, not coming out, because I guess I keep telling myself that I should be able to get by happily without doing that, which isn't right at all. Today I feel trapped and hopeless again, like I'll never be happy or satisfied, and I know it's just because of my problems opening up and showing myself. If I let people see me I'm sure I'd be a bit closer to being happy with my life, because nothing else will get me there. I will make absolutely no progress until I am honest about myself to others, but the problem is knowing where to start. It's easy to be honest online, and somehow I feel like I lose a lot of my motivation by venting here. Energy that could instead build up and break my real emotional barriers, spent up in talking about it online. It eases out the excess frustration, but is ultimately a short-term solution to the problem. Oh well. I'm short-tempered today and nothing feels like it's going to work out. Same old story.
