There's nothing trivial about any of the additions that the levels give you though. It's just more clutter for your steam page.

It lives up to the name of the system. It's trading cards. Collect and buy enough shit, and you get pretty clutter to look at. Nothing's functionally better or trivial compared to the standard customization Steam has to offer.

There's no point in hating something for no reason. All the time I see people hating on ponies and bronies and I'm just like "Who cares if someone likes something you don't?"
People hate bronies because about like ~x% of the brony community are weird as shit and they like to tell you that they're weird as shit when nobody really cares. Then people start to hate bronies because said x% of the brony community feel like 90% of the brony community.
