Here's a broken PC i guess they all suck too!
My friend was arranging a blind date with me, because he found an INTJ Taurus (I'm an ENFP Scorpio) and that's supposed to be my ideal match. However I guessed who it was after he start describing small things about color of eyes and length of hair. And I'm not attracted to the person, but I'm thrilled to meet them. May be smoking, and going to a club with them.
hi guys what's up I haven't posted in here in forever but I'm gonna try to get back in the habit because there is/was a bunch of cool people in here and hopefully they're all still here
also the trackpad on the macbook I used blew every other trackpad I've ever used out of the water

Computers are dumb
Whoever heard of using one of those lame things
Oh hey speaking of computers can any of you guy recommend me a PC case that requires the absolute smallest bit of effort to put parts in?
My last case was so horrible that it added 3 or so extra hours to assembly and I'm scarred from that.

This lack of sunlight is slightly rough on me. Anyone else feeling it?
Macs are actually pretty legit
Problem is I don't think they are worth the price, and a lot of people do get macs on brand alone.
Still though, if I had a mac at no cost to me, I wouldn't complain. They are usually built better than most other laptops on the market (a side effect of being standardized and heavily controlled), and there is hardly anything with a macbook that makes you go "Oh this thing sucks" unless you really hate OSX
OSX itself is really nice if you do video/graphic design work or any kind of multitasking simply because creative suite was literally designed with OSX in mind and how OSX handles multi-tasking is so much better better than Windows. I miss from my old design class mac's being able to have Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign open all at the same time with dozens of files+windows up, and drag+drop everything seamlessly between the programs, drag files into programs open on the docks to immediately open the file up in that program (important for images where you might want to edit or use the image file in something that isn't the default program), and best of all having that button on the mouse that just collages all open programs onto the screen making it super easy to switch between windows without having to alt tab or fish for it in the task bar. It really makes me miss the mac workstations we had in my design classes, the OS is really a beast at dealing with loads of lose files/windows/programs being open while the UI design of windows isn't nearly as efficient at it.
I mean, that said I do hate the lack of right clicking in a lot of macbooks. Sure the OS and most of the mouses support it now, but a lot of modern macbooks I've used still do the whole "only one mouse button thing" making it so I have to hold the command key down to do a right click action. It's REALLY annoying with the trackpad, not so bad though if you have a dedicated mouse (which most of the time you can get one with right click now adays anyways that does the same thing as the command-click action).
Well, fuck, I can't set SkyDrive correctly because I can't link my Windows Live ID in my control panel because Internet Explorer has somehow become full on broken.
Seriously, watch.

Which IE version is it, because you can likely fix it by upgrading it. I had this issue a while back.
People still use IE?

I always wondered why people thought OSX was good for multimedia, but this clears it up pretty well. I just thought they were being trendy :v:. Linux could easily have that level of flow and continuity (if it doesn't already), it just needs the applications themselves because fuck GIMP.

Trying to right now through Windows Update after trying to do it myself caused the install to fail.

Windows still has it there to open links.

But windows does all that too.

I just set Firefox to my default browser.
So Windows never tries to open IE, ever.
The latest versions of IE are very solid, but I don't feel compelled enough to use them frequently; I would only use IE most of the time for Windows Update, back when I used Windows XP. I use Firefox as my go-to browser because of my positive stance towards GNU, and the fact that its gone through many optimization and UI improvements over the past year so.
One of the biggest attractions for me getting a Macbook Pro was the IPS retina display. Extremely high resolution and extremely accurate colors.

And weight. I have to check my backpack to make sure I actually brought it, it's so light.

Yeah I mentioned the screens earlier, they're great but not that great, and the colours aren't that accurate (without calibration), do you man vibrant by any chance?
Help. My phone will be dead in a hour for good. I want to save all my photos.
Do I send them to SkyDrive or should I email them to myself?

I'm with you on this one, I have a slow laptop which I use for office programs and web, so I chose it for having a comfortable keyboard alone.
My desktop is slow and can hardly play any games.
Money spent on better things like a good monitor.

Save to SkyDrive.
Sending it to yourself might be too much.
I guess it is December.
I deleted Internet Explorer just so I can fresh install Internet Explorer.
Work damnit.
