I saw one of my friends dropping his iPhone 4 on a stone and the screen, except smaller crack, survived just fine. And you'd literally have to trace over the crack with your finger nails to feel it. Whatever, Xperia STi15 ftw. That phone survived more then it should.

My friends complain all the time about how fragile iphones are. Like they will work but the phones themselves crack easily and the are always getting pretty bad aesthetic damage.

I dropped my iPhone last week and it still works. Granted there's some little scratches here and there. I also had a cover too so that helps.

I keep dropping my HTC One and I dunno if it's because I have a case or what but it somehow manages to survive the craziest things.

I almost never drop my phone but whenever I do, there's almost never a scratch. Worst I've done is mess up the screen protector, and not by much. (I have an iphone.) I wouldn't go by what people say break easily and what's indestructible; (except for old nokia phones,) but I've heard just as many stories about iphones being impossible to break as they are being like flimsy chinese knockoffs. Same for android phones.

There is a term for the angle or something at which a material is put under the most strain.

My grandmother just died, and it sucks even more that I promised to fly to visit her soon when I talked to her this afternoon. Now she's gone, and I can't do anything about it. She was in a lot of pain, tumors all over due to lack of medical care by my family, and ended up dying in her sleep. I'm not a religious man, but if there's a heaven she sure as shit is there... and hopefully out of the pain and suffering driven by my family's neglect for her.
