I watched When the Wind Blows for the 4th of July. It was either that or Dr Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb The latter is so much more pleasant. It's harrowing to see a nuclear holocaust from the eyes of two helpless individuals. If politicians feel like I did when watching Dr Strangelove whilst people experience When The Wind Blows, then no wonder they're all horrible people.

I can't stop listening to the Mind Control theme from Manhunt 2. Oh, also, I beat Manhunt 2. I will never be clean.

Went out on a drive to see what kind of fireworks people were lighting up and stumbled upon the local park which is more of an empty block with some grass growing on it. Some people hauling entire [I]pallets[/I] of fireworks from a car into an area cordoned off by safety tape were gathering while flares shot up around me with dull thuds so I just figured I'd stick around for some fun. Why not. In this little overgrown block of a suburban neighborhood they (and several other groups of organized fireworkees) must have simultaneously shot more than my entire college tuition's worth of fireworks in a gloriously loud, explosive display of capitalistic glory. No one seemed to be paying any mind to keeping much distance away from the showers of light covering the sky, because those explosions were louder than I ever remember watching a fireworks show being and I could hear people gathering all around the block yelling and applauding every time a large boom went off and lit up the entire park. I love America.

With Canada Day being July 1 and Independence Day being July 4, I propose we just merge these into the North American Get Drunk for Four Days Event

Well, my first week in job is over and I hated every single minute of it. No, fuck month and half, doing only month. It's already hard to not give up right away and I am not prolonging that torture. Fuck it. So I won't have any money to waste on non-important shit, I don't care.
