(Not trying to troll, just curious) What's the difference between anthrocon and a furry convention?
(Not trying to troll, just curious) What's the difference between anthrocon and a furry convention?
It is a furry convention.
I want to go to a convention I can dress up for, but we don't have any here. There's an anime one like once a year in the city about 2 hours from me.
I was going to go with my girlfriend once, but we broke up before it.
It is a furry convention.
Oh. So there were people in fursuits yiffing everywhere and stuff?
Oh. So there were people in fursuits yiffing everywhere and stuff?
Pffft hahah.
[editline]7th July 2014[/editline]
That's the kind of stuff that happens off-site of the convention, like in the hotels.
Gross.
Anybody want Antichamber?

Oh dear now I've got flashbacks to when Animosus was here.
I am gonna bring this up again because I am ~opinionated~
I'd still be careful since things like HIV can take 6+ months to show up in a test so people can still be carriers without knowing.
Whilst afaik the six months is about 5.5 months over the top (on statistical odds of it reading negative when you do have it, depending on the method of testing), sex without condoms really should be reserved for when you're in long term comitted relationships or you work in pornography (even then that's a decision not to enter into lightly). It's just safer for everything. Whilst I guess it's a personal decision that decision can end up affecting a lot of people, so I feel like actively discouraging it.
Using condoms ALL THE TIME is good practise for requesting and using them properly 'cause I, it turns out (and many people), actually have real difficulty asking to use condoms [sp](esp. when horny)[/sp]. Just default to protection in all cases, unless you have seriously thought about and discussed beforehand whilst you are 100% sure you have full capacity. Which it seems Trekintosh did so I'm not critisizing in his case.
I bring this up because I thought I was all over the idea of safe sex until I started having sex and then it turned out to be (for me) more difficult than I expected (mostly not because I lacked understanding but because I lacked self-control [I was genuinely surprised by this] and the other party probably [based on their actions] either lacked understanding or self-control)
~Thank you for learning about safe sex, with your host: a random internet person~

Don't ruin Persona 3 for me >:(((
how can some straight people be even more gay than gay people
jokingly talking about sucking each others dick but then saying "i kid i kid!"
what has the world become

Most straight guys I know that aren't bros act more gay than I do.
And I suck dick.
I think it has to do with the fact that liking dudes isn't a major personality trait.

Some people are just curious but never really show it.

Do not exceed the limit. Or there will be harsh punishments
Oh dear now I've got flashbacks to when Animosus was here.
Ahhh the memories. Good times.

Is ignorance of the law an excuse in this case?

You were at AC? We could have said hi!
Honestly my AC was a bit of a bust. One of the loneliest drama-filled nights I've ever had (nothing like your BF's best friend being physically close to him while you are trying to exercise some distance), with the rest of the days being alright but only hanging out with the same person the whole time. Really wanted to meet and hang with a lot of different folks and go to a few places but never did any of that because that guy we were with was pretty much besties with my "bf". So instead we just did what he did the whole time.
I've always heard much better stories come from MFF. Just because Anthrocon is the biggest, certainly doesn't make it the best.

AC is a furry convention
AC happens to be the largest, with the most people going to it and a massive artist alley/dealers den. The location really makes AC for me, its right in the heart of downtown pittsburgh. Lots of fun walking the city streets with loads of cool places to eat and visit.
Also I got this cool print for $10:

Despite having a shitty AC I still enjoyed going to it. Some people don't like AC though because its too big which makes it hard to hang out with a variety of people.
Im sorry dude that sounds like a really shitty situation and you have my sympathies but it really sounds like this situation with your "boyfriend" is abusive. From everything you have told us about the relationship between you and him, and his relationship with his "bestie" it sounds like you are going through a long, drawn out dumping process.
I'd say just split up now, save yourself the time and pain and start looking for someone else/take some time off from dating work on your self etc.
Keep in mind the only relationship ive had is the one im in now so take my advice however you see fit. Just trying to add some perspective.
It certainly does feel long and drawn out, but its not as black and white as that. We've been together for 3.5 years and he still deeply cares for me. He's just going through a high stress time with finances, school, shitty job and now having a mutual crush on his best friend while at the same time getting used to me to the point where he sees me as a family member he loves, making him unsure of what to do with our relationship.
Its just one of these things where everything is just kind of stressing at once.
Wow that must be really hard to deal with dude im sorry.
But at the same time your BF needs to make a decision between you and his best friend. Not the easiest thing to do but something that must be done for all of you to be able to move forward.
And it seems like he is choosing his best friend over you, which, to me at least, shows that he doesn't care about you as much as you think he does.
He has to recognize what his actions/situations he puts himself in to grow closer to his best friend while moving farther apart from the person he supposedly "loves" do to someone he sees as a "family member".
And again I am sorry, its obvious that you care about him deeply but that is fucked up dude, just saying.

Because some people are legit that secure with their sexuality.

Christ that's neat, I've seen photos of people bidding 400+ dollars for just a standard A4 print.

welcome to the world of actually liking coffee, not cream and sugar with coffee flavoring
for reference I drink straight black Cuban coffee or just regular ol' whatever. Sometimes with a wee bit of water, though.
on a diff note: I'm sure none of you guys give a shit, but today I moved up from a normal 30'' box jump (you jump up on to a 30 inch tall box.. it's not that complicated) to a 42 inch jump. I nailed all of them until the very last one, which I fell short, slammed my shins on the edge and oh god it hurts so much.
