Ok so I was delivering pizzas on a well known road, the speed changed down from 60 to 50 and I stayed at around 55 or something, car behind me bipped at me, people do that all the time for some reason because dominos, so I ignored it. Then they bipped again and flashed their lights and I realised it was a police beep not a normal horn beep. I was confused as to what the hell they were doing so I didn't pay attention to my speed or slow down. I stopped at the lights soon after and saw a police officer in the undercover car in the passenger seat writing something. Did I get a fine? I don't know :( And I probably won't believe anyone who says I didn't. I hate breaking rules, especially laws! Why wouldn't they pull me over and tell me??? It's a commercial vehicle (dominos scooter) so I don't think they needed to pull me over to issue a fine... [editline]16th July 2014[/editline] I'm going to spend the next few days stressing about this.

Cry. That's the other thing. My boss will probably have to show me the thing and tell me I got the fine etc. etc. and I probably will cry. This is just generally embarrassing.

Been such a rough few days for me. Ended up visiting a friend I met at kings island (amusement park) who lived an hour and a half away monday night because I needed to get out of the house and find my own company for once. I'm the kind of guy who loves being around people but am absolutely awful at making my own friends and my own company one on one so I really am trying to fix that. The thing is, this guy has the hots for me. I'm recently single and its the first time I've ever been around someone who is outwardly flirty with me (plus, he's got an an uncut dick!) so I figured I'd go an see how things went. We end up fooling around in the jerk-off type of way while over there and he was also cuddling me a bit. Super uncomfortable about all that. I've learned I'm not the type of guy that likes to fool around with others on my own, and while being cuddled all I could think about was the night my ex started to question our relationship a month ago while I was at work, and when I came home he laid a spot out for me on the bed where he held me for a few hours with some song playing on repeat that I can't remember the name of. It was one of the most genuine experiences I've had in my life (getting teary eye'd just thinking about it), and doing the same thing with this guy I basically only met once before made me feel really uncomfortable. That said he's still a cool guy and I'd love to hang out with him more, just hands off. The real stress was that in me doing this I inadvertantly ended up making my ex feel really lonely and by himself as I went to do this on my own. We may be broken up but we are trying to get back to a state where we are best friends again since we both really care for each other still. I feel awful that I genuinely made him feel thrown under the bus by me running off to the next city over to basically hang out and fool around with some other guy not even a week after we broke up. Spirits are a bit better today. But... I dunno. I kind of wish I never went, but at the same time I felt like it was something I needed to do, needed to try. Its stupid.

Staying so close to someone so soon after breaking up with them and being together for so long has to be extremely tough mentally. I understand why you're doing it though. Lately I've been so unmotivated. I feel like there's nothing to live for. I don't think about suicide, it's not that. It's just that sometimes I feel like I have nothing, like I already felt what I could and there's nothing new ahead. Everything is so bored and uninteresting I know this is wrong, that there's much to live for but I really don't know how/when/where to do it.
That's called depression bro

Ooh, someone from the American Institute of Consumer Studies came to my door and offered to give me 70 bucks in cash to answer a survey tomorrow. Free money woo!

Got my new work schedule. 11 hour days , six days a week. :(
Got my new work schedule. 11 hour days , six days a week. :(
Do it for Aaron.
It was a hell of a day at work. Trying to find a decent VGA to HDMI converter, the Exchange server isn't displaying new users in the Global Address Book due to the old Exchange 2003 server, and I inadvertently saw someone get crushed to death by an SUV on a bicycle. Just honestly, how could it escalate any more than that.
Got my new work schedule. 11 hour days , six days a week. :(
How can they do that? Are they really allowed to make you work like that?
How can they do that? Are they really allowed to make you work like that?
Generally it's not illegal to make someone work long hours if they agree to it, but in my province there's mandatory overtime pay after 8 hours a day or 40 hours a week, and you need at least two consecutive days off after working a week or two (I forget the specifics). I think there are exceptions for the construction industry where working 15 hours a day for a month straight isn't uncommon. (I, maybe foolishly, turned down a job exactly like that recently, but I don't think I could have physically done it)
Well I just got fired 5 days from my 3 month period and 40 hours from being unionized. Time to drink
Well I just got fired 5 days from my 3 month period and 40 hours from being unionized. Time to drink
I was fired from my job at a hotel just days from being able to claim unemployment. People are shitty.
Well I just got fired 5 days from my 3 month period and 40 hours from being unionized. Time to drink
I was fired 1 day from my 3 month period when I had a job at Best Buy. It's like they're trying to piss you off. What did they say to you?
The dumbest part is one of their excuses for firing me is that I answered questions directed toward supervisors It was literally the one time I mentioned something and one of the old bitches shushed me. Like literally went SHHHHHHHH to my fucking face and then 2 minutes later said the exact same thing I mentioned
