Gay Chat V11 - Were you expecting something funny?

My boss's house burned down the other day, I've been helping her and her family settle into their temporary apartment. Apparently there's a known fault with the gas dryer that was in it, but nobody told them and the landlord didn't bother doing anything about it. It blew up and the whole place burned. Fortunately the babysitter was there and able to get the babies outside, but it's pretty fucking scary. Came at a great time, too, what with the whole company being completely broke. They lost everything but their laptops(which were with them at work) and their car(ditto). Also the landlord is trying to fight the insurance claim, and they're going to have to participate in a huge class action suit against the dryer company to get any reimbursement.

Between school, jobs, gas and weather, its not like you can just up and drive 70 miles and back willy nilly. Especially weather since its so goddamn unpredictable. I had to cancel on my ex-GF several times in the winter due to Highway Patrols closing the roads. Its easier to maintain than true long distance relationships, but its still a pain in the ass.

i don't quite think i've ever really been so grateful for some of my friends. i've been having one hell of a day today and i've also seriously been down recently over how i really just want to see her again (yet she's 4,000 miles across the sea) and so they came over with a wii, brawl, and gamecube controllers and got my mind off things and that's made things okay for now i guess

i didn't feel much at first when she left but now it's hitting me hard

i like the mustang and all but as time goes on it really just isn't the car for me
dunno why, i used to like it a lot more than i liked the challenger but now its the other way around heh

in reality, my choice of cars would be, in order of least to most expensive, an altima coupe, a hellcat, and a tt.

i'm not really into cars beyond that price range, most are just too impractical imo to drive on the road. i'd love a vanquish but the ride's terrible off the track. also price heh.

That photo was from when I was in Reno, about 10 days ago. That neighborhood was built only two years ago.
