Even then you're going to be relying on buses a lot because the train system is woefully inadequate. I was just in Saskatoon and I decided to check bus routes on Google Maps for some of the places I drove to, places that were a 10 minute drive were 40+ minutes by bus. It's a fairly small city, 250,000 people, but it's basically all urban sprawl and there's no way for public transit to cover it all properly. Calgary is the same way and they're 5x bigger.

I'm now in a virginia hotel waiting for a cab to take to my flight because my old one was cancelled. I'm a bit malnurished because con flu has made food nauseating and I got to sleep in this hotel for about 30 minutes. I'm sorry for the blog post but I have literally nothing better to do.

America has neat cars. Some guy who lives near me has a 71 - 78 Cadillac Eldorado. It would probably use a full tank of gas to get to the end of his driveway but it's a very nice looking car.

It's definitely better than most European cars, and far better than Japanese cars. Those things all have bottlecaps for rims. I think for the most part, at least in American style cars and trucks, American manufacturers are pretty good at making the wheels fit the cars, both in terms of design and size. I always hated it when someone would take, say, an Explorer, which has perfectly fitting rims that look fine and are the right size, and swaps them for some yo yo bling dawg 24's and rubber band tires. I'm a happy camper, my isp sent me a free router and a new splitter. [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/iaRav7n.png[/IMG] The + 1.5mb was from the router, and the +6.8 was from the new splitter :D Now I'm calling them about unfucking my upload speeds.
