It's shark week.

The only 'shark week' I know of is menstruation.
So i have a problem here lads. Well actually its not really a problem tbh....
But basically you might know im in a committed relationship, i love my boyfriend very much, we're almost coming up to a year now, hes my first boyfriend ever and also my first male sexual partner. (met him a month after coming out) and as soon as i met him, nothing else seemed to matter. Obviously if i saw an attractive guy walking down the street i do the double look and a subtle stare but thats because its natural and harmless.
But anyway, i've been talking to this gay guy online, completely harmless talking, my boyfriend knows about him, they even talk sometimes too and my boyfriend is completely ok with him since he knows all i talk to him about it World of Warcraft and Pokemon haha. Me and him are very similar dudes with similar tastes.
I've been talking to him for a good 2 months now and i've noticed that we have more and more stuff in common. He lives like 2 hours away (soon to me 3 hours because hes got a new job farther away) so i'm most likely never going to meet him. But i think im developing like a little crush? on him. I don't know. I don't really understand crushes. I like talking to him, its fun, we have a laugh and we abuse each other (harmless abuse) and i think its almost like harmless flirting. He's never tried anything on with me or tried to tell me he likes me or anything as he respects the whole boyfriend thing but i do believe that if i was single he would definitely try to go on a date with me or something.
I dunno. i enjoy talking to him, he is a laugh but i don't obviously want this "crush" to develop to something more. Advice? Anybody else had this dilemma?
Only way to get better upload is over Fibre, which isn't happening
Yeah I just got told this, I live in a somewhat rural area and Fibre isn't available, guess I'll never be able to stream :(

The sodomites arent held back by children and can live a happy, full life.
It's too bad he's posting the picture to troll rather than actually be funny.
Sounds like a win win situation to me
It's too bad he's posting the picture to troll rather than actually be funny.
yeah, he's posted it on three different gay articles.
Normally when someone posts something like that in this thread it's hysterical.
This guy is just wearing out the joke :U
tbh pride parades like that sicken me
Those few percent in pride parades who go way over the top and go borderline on the public indecency laws ruin how people perceive gay people.
It should be pride for being gay by openly showing your relationship or support, not pride for "I like wearing nothing but leather g strings in public while showing off my naked obese slampiece".

this perfectly sums up my views
good skit but the "I'm the asshole" isn't necessary IMO
I'm a happy camper, my isp sent me a free router and a new splitter.

The + 1.5mb was from the router, and the +6.8 was from the new splitter :D
Now I'm calling them about unfucking my upload speeds.
If a bad splitter was causing your download issues, you likely have signal leakage. Hardwire your laptop/desktop into the back of the modem and see if it improves.
If it does, then your router is the cause. If it doesn't, you have a signal leakage problem and that will take a trouble call.
Edit: just realized you said you don't have fibre. Yeah, you won't get better upload speeds without it.
If it's distance then he's going to need an amplifier in his OPB, or a new line to the OPB, or a new conduit line to the tap...
If he lives in an apartment, then he can have a new line ran out to the MDU which might solve the problem (if it's a bad line) depending on the apartment complex. Some apartments let you run new lines, some don't.
There are a lot of reasons he could be getting bad signal. It's honestly going to take a trouble call for a tech to come out and look, see if anything needs to be replaced.
I'll shut up with the cable tech talk now :v:

This cinemagraph has been approved by viva.
I don't understand the dumbs on this. This picture above is a cinemagraph, in that only a certain portion of the image remains moving the rest is completely still, and it's approved by me because coffee.

I'm probably missing something obvious, but why does the top of the mug melt slightly?
Artefact from the stabilization.
The steam isn't frozen, the rest of the image is, and the rim of the mug is at the cut off point of what is frozen and what isn't, so what you're seeing is movement of the camera put over a frozen first frame of the source video.
As summer vacation is coming to a close, my parents and I decided to take a bike ride on a nearby trail. It wasn't too hot (80°F/27°C), the humidity was low, and there was a light breeze. We also rode over 9 miles, which is more than twice the distance than last time we rode the trail in July.

That's the point where we turned back, next to a hill called the Owl's Head.
Keep going.
I love Cable.
Can't shit on my VDSL2 line :V
nerd
It also depends on what kind of cable he's using.
Is he using RG6 or RG59? 59 has massive problems over distance, while 6 cleans it up a bit. He can be losing signal that way too.
Ah fuck it, Chickens let me come over and inspect your shit :v:
On the road home. About halfway between Denver and Tulsa now.
