Why are we arguing over nothing, again
Why are we arguing over nothing, again
It's the Gay Chat thread. If there's not some sort of argument going on, then something is wrong!
I just want to take this time to say that so much good music came out this year that it makes me want to cry. Maybe not cry but it's still p emotionally overwhelming.
The spotify playlist I made that contains only my very favorite songs from this year has over 50 songs and that's pretty crazy by my standards.
Now I have to decide what my personal favorite song of the year is.
Honestly, if you browse fast threads or SH. You're just asking to find shit heads. Fast Threads is basically a mix of reddit, tumblr, and 4chan.
Even the OIFY is better, cause that's forced shitposting. SH is just arguments and news.
I'm drifting away from Fast Threads and SH isn't a place I visit.
Anyways, Google Music has fucked up the download again.

I don't even know anymore.

Which happened, resulting a second reheat.
Damnit science, do things to fix this!

why not just stick it in the oven instead?
A Hot Pocket is a scientific anomaly.
You could probably touch it to the surface of the sun and it'd still be frozen in the goddamned middle.

Hot Pockets don't belong in the oven.
Food does.

Don't be silly.
[sp]I would but I wanted a hot pocket now.[/sp]
That's true, and if they really are that bad and want to do nothing but that, then avoid those people, because chances are they're not
doing anything with their lives and will drag other friends down with them if you let them.
Off topic from weedchat for some ranting from me because I really really need to vent to someone/something right now.
Being in a relationship where your other blames you for everything and then pulls the "you don't love me/you don't trust me" card
when you don't side with them fucking sucks. And that I don't really have anyone to talk to about it because if I tried to, he'd try telling everyone
about every bad thing I've ever done to try to make me seem like the most terrible person on the planet.
I'm not even sure what to do because he told me he wants to break up because "I don't trust him ever", even though he lied about this same
particular thing before, and although I was trying to trust him but admitted that I still thought in the back of my head that there was
the possibility that he could be lying but I was trusting that he wasn't anyway, and it apparently meant I never ever trust him and I'm
the worst person in the world and that "something is seriously wrong with our relationship". I've had such terrible past few months because
of my health and our relationship being a rollercoaster fighting simulator and I really don't know what to do anymore.
I love him more than anything in the world, but at the same time I give in to what he wants all the time just to make him happy, and if I don't, he
accuses me of not loving him or not caring and threatens our relationship, while if I try to say anything about something he does, he
brings up how much money he spent on me and how much that means he loves me, and/or brings up past things I've done and turns it around
on me instead. I always try communicating with him but he doesn't like listening to anything that he doesn't want to hear about. If I try telling
him he's not listening, he blames me for using a "bad tone towards him" even when I talk as politely and non-offensively as possible.
There have been so many times that I've just given in and pretended like everything was okay just so that he wouldn't get mad at me or something,
and I feel like I'm barely allowed to have an opinion of my own anymore. I really just want to be happy with him but at the same time I feel like I'm
becomming less and less of my own person. What should I do, gaychat? :c
[editline]bluh[/editline]
If you're reading this you, please don't reply to this trying to call out everything I did instead, because I know I did a lot of wrong things myself.
I just needed to vent and want someone else to get advice from, rather than only your advice.
Sounds like a toxic relationship and you are blinded by your love for this guy.
IIRC, KorJax had it right when he said he was the "crazy ex-boyfriend."
Welp, it's snowy and cold outside, and I'm probably gonna spend the whole day outside.
If I don't come back within a week I might have been trapped under a ravine and will wake up in 2055.
You're only really having fun with a video game when you need a calculator and a notepad to play it.
This is what I tell myself every day. :v:

Be a GM mode in the NHL games for me. Dem contracts.
Just had to sign one of my superstars to a new contract and the dude wants $11 million. That's NBA money man.
I talked him down to 9.5 because I am the greatest manager in the history of sports.
It's in the game™
My room door is weird.
It shuts properly all through the year but then in the winter you have to slam the thing to make it close.
This of course means I can't shut my door in the middle of the night unless I want to wake half the house up, so that's fun too :v:

If I don't shut my door during summer the way the wind works it swings and tries to shut itself repeatedly. Also waking the whole house up.

If it's wood it's because the humidity or lack thereof makes it swell and shrink.
All of the doors in my house are wood. I'm sure I'd have this problem too but my house is 100 years old as of this year so none of them close properly to begin with.

Oify is a place full of people trying to outdo each other in terms of shitposting.
It's not usually that great because there is a special art to shitposting that making a special subforum for it cannot truly replicate.
Fuel price chat. Kalamari was asking me what it is that makes me think more of long distances, when he would do like a 5 hour round-trip every day for some reason for another.
I was thinking on it and I have no idea what roads he was driving on, but from the look of his state the roads all seem to just be straight lines, whereas the 2.5 hour trip to my nearest large town is about 130 miles of twisting roads and blind corners.
That and, doing the math, I'm pretty sure that, based on the prices at a local gas station, we pay the equivalent to $10.91 per US gallon (will be different elsewhere in the UK; I live in a pretty rural area way in the north of Scotland). Doing a small bit of looking, I think that's more than you in the US pay. That along with the fact that slowing and starting for winding roads burns fuel a bit more quickly than straight roads and motorways, I think it's well justified thinking more of a 2.5 hour road trip.
So nooo Kalamari, it's not weird that I wouldn't just casually drive to France :c
I don't know if he even goes to this thread anymore, but I still want to hear about fuel prices elsewhere.
-snip oh great I made this post as a joke without seeing Teto's post which is something that I would much prefer to talk about-
We pay around $5.67 a gallon here (using $1.50 a litre).
I have a motorcycle because it costs me so very little. Fuel efficiency is about 3.8 litres per 100km or around 62mpg.
The downside is I have about 50% more chance of dying.
[editline]9th December 2013[/editline]
And yes, if you drive on highways at higher speeds it is more fuel efficient and less time consuming. However it is also much less interesting. Which is why a casual drive for Kalamari of two and a half hours to France on your curvy roads is much more interesting to him, who drives more often on straight roads, than you, who drives more often on curvy ones.
Gas prices are stupidly high and I don't get why there are a lot of people who complain about them and then go and complain about alternate ways to get more gas and therefore make gas cheaper and yet they still drive cars that run on gas.
My car can only take premium fuel and I do so much driving, done 600km in the past two days alone. Fuel is an absolute killer on the wallet. I always make sure to buy fuel on Wednesdays though, because they can vary up to 20c per liter between Wednesday and Thursday.

It wasn't the interest factor we were discussing, so I admit that it's more interesting on my road to my nearest town. France would be something like 15-20 hours or something for me though. 2.5 was just to the nearest town mainstream enough for a McDonalds or Starbucks, stuff like that. The roads beyond that town are all larger roads though. Still not boring scenery, until the endless fields of England.
I can't believe nobody made a joke yet about page 69 :p

I suppose driving anywhere in another country carries some level of interest more than those who live there. You were talking about the cost? It's complicated because I think that if you buy a vehicle being worried about how much it might cost to drive somewhere means you shouldn't have bought the vehicle. Then again for recreational driving that I suppose is a legitimate concern.
The only thing that would make me reconsider going somewhere just casually is the safety issue. Apparently a large majority of fatal motorcycle crashes in my state occur between 2 and 4pm on weekends, suggesting they're mostly recreational riding related.
