Apparently they are installing fiber optic cable in my area. I've seen them working around here alot, I'm hoping that's why my internet is suddenly hideously awful today.
Theres like 4 main areas to my town.
2 of those areas have fully installed Fibre broadband. The other area is currently getting it installed now....
our area (even though more people live where we do and we live closer to town) isn't getting fibre installed until 2016 apparently...

I'm looking at cars because I feel like I really want/need one that is more than just a shitty "gets by" beater from 15 years ago
But do I really want to do a car payment
But at the same time if I do a car payment I won't have to worry about dropping $500-$1000 within the next year into a car repair bill. And with a sizable downpayment ($3K) plus my great credit score I could easily qualify for a monthly payment as low as $100 on a car from 2011

if you can afford it (assuming you can still pay your other bills just fine) and you need it, go for it.
I'll probably hold off. I don't really need it, and I still have a year of school left to go.
I'm just literally going to have a $1667 surplus from the government this month just by going to school, on top working part time. So I'm in a "maybe I can afford a real car now?!" mood lol. Especially one thats comfortable driving out of state.
Of course part of the problem is that I'm pretty dead-set on a specific style and model of car... which isn't older than 2011 (Mazda2). And that aren't widely available in manual transmission (or at all, really). So maybe I should just wait until I graduate lol
